star Kate Spencer has confirmed the birth of her first child, a baby boy, with husband Paul Walker.
The actress, best known for her role as villainous Grace Vickers on the soap, shared the news with Instagram followers on Tuesday evening.
, Spencer - who announced her pregnancy in October - wrote: 'Baby Zach burst into the world last week and safe to say, we are utterly besotted.
'Life will never be the same again, and for that, we are eternally grateful.'
Spencer featured on Coronation Street from 2019 until 2022, making history as part of the first black family to appear on the show.
The actress, who married professional boxer Walker in 2022, previously told followers she was feeling 'grateful and blessed' after announcing her pregnancy before .

Sharing the news, Kate wrote: '19 weeks of loving you, forever to go! Hugely grateful, blessed and unbelievably excited to be welcoming the next generation of the Walkers into our family in March 2026.'
Walker proposed to the actress as they dined out at a steak restaurant in June 2021, with Spencer telling fans she broke down in tears after he got down on one knee.
The actress uploaded a series of messages on her social media pages at the time, writing: '3 years ago he asked me what my perfect day consisted of.
'I said: "Get up early, train in the morning, some time to chill by myself, good food, good coffee, and do something theatre/acting related.
'Yesterday, we went to the gym, had great coffee, learnt some lines for Corrie, went on a little walk, went to a pub, played backgammon, made tiramisu and ate steak.
'It was perfect. And then this happened.'
Announcing the engagement, she uploaded a beaming selfie of herself holding up a ring on her finger as she hugged Paul tightly.
Spencer also shared a series of photographs on her Instagram page which documented the day Paul proposed to her.
Included amongst the images was one of the two of them lovingly embracing in a garden, with Kate's engagement ring on display.
Spencer also shared a screenshot from the moment she announced the engagement to her family on a Zoom video call.
She could be seen proudly holding up her hand, with her engagement ring prominently on display.
The caption for a final image read: 'I b****y love you. (And I'm super thankful you swiped right.'
She added: 'After the Tomahawk steak, before the Tiramisu, and with a coffee in hand, he turned me into an absolute blubbering mess.
'A million times over, completely and utterly yes.'
