Celebrity Traitors star Kate Garraway has weighed in on her ‘feud’ with co-star Tom Daley after he gunned for as one of the villains of the show.
The Olympic diver, 31, shared his concerns that Kate was one of the Traitors because of her dramatic reactions, including a now viral moment when she said she was ‘flabbergasted’ over Paloma Faith’s death.
Following Kate’s exaggerated response, Tom was caught throwing a shady side eye, as it added to his suspicions that Kate was one of the hooded rogues.
However, Kate insisted that there was no bad blood between the two contestants as she spoke to Daily Mail at the Pride Of Britain Awards on Monday.
Revealing she had no idea about the moment until the show aired, the Good Morning Britain host, said: ‘I know! It’s so weird…
‘You experience it in there. But the clever thing about this show is that you don’t see what others are saying about you until it goes on air.

Discussing her relationship with Tom specifically, she said: ‘I love Tom. But clearly my ‘flabbergasted’ is not his cup of tea. Although he did send a message saying his ‘gasted was fully flabbered’ – so I think he’s on board now.’
When asked whether she has seen her co-stars since filming, Kate said: ‘We got together a couple of weeks ago, some of them I haven’t seen because they’ve been away doing other things.
‘But hopefully we’ve got a date lined up towards the end to see each other. The whole thing is just incredible, it’s amazing.’
Kate also revealed her time on the show may be coming to an end, adding: ‘I know but I’m up for murder next episode! This could be the moment the axe falls.’
For fans of the show, such reactions can signal alliances, trust issues and gameplay dynamics — so Tom’s look at Kate raised questions about what he really thinks of her and whether he trusts her in the game.
The moment was picked up by media outlets because it visually captured an interpersonal tension on the show.
After Tom performed the vast roll of his eyes, he later said: ‘Who uses that word?’
In response, fellow competitor Alan Carr told Daley: ‘You can’t just call someone a Traitor because they have a better vocabulary than you’.

Tom mocked the moment in a recent video following his axing from the series, cheekily flashing his abs while poking fun at Kate’s catchphrase.
Tom, who was ‘murdered’ on the hit BBC show during Wednesday’s episode, posed shirtless for the clip as he responded to all the buzz over the constant use of the word ‘flabbergasted’ and his brutal ‘murder’.
To kick off the clip, Tom was pretending to leave Ardross Castle – where the show is filmed – with a giant black suitcase whilst sporting an iconic black-and-white faux-fur coat.
He then walked towards the camera, saying: ‘Well, I guess my flabbers were officially gasted’ as he thrust forward his chest, effectively popping open the coat buttons to display his chiselled physique.
