Karl Stefanovic has shared a sweet birthday tribute to his Today show co-host Sarah Abo.
The Nine veteran, 51, took to Instagram to offer his best wishes to Sarah, who turned 40 on Saturday.
He shared an adorable image that showed Sarah cuddling close to Karl’s wife Jasmine and their daughter Harper, 5, during a recent trip to the Mount Isa Rodeo.
Captioning the adorable image, Karl said he was ‘humbled’ to know Sarah.  Â
‘She’ll hate this. But who cares,’ he wrote.
‘I’m humbled and grateful to have strong women in my life. Women who make my life. Women like @sarahabo. What a privilege to know you.Â

Continuing his sweet tribute, Karl praised Sarah for her resilience and infectious laugh.    Â

‘You show up sister. Every day. Happy birthday 40th Sares. You rock like Madonna doing karaoke in Chinatown.’
The post was met with many happy returns from Sarah’s friends and followers, including Nine entertainment guru Richard Wilkins.

Karl’s wife Jasmine also chimed in with: ‘Happiest Birthdays Sarsoura. That’s so beautiful Karlos.’

TV Blackbox reported this week that Sarah had ‘agreed to a new deal’ to shore up her future at the Nine breakfast show alongside Karl Stefanovic.
Sunday Confidential also reported last week that Sarah enlisted the services of accountant to the stars Anthony Bell to handle the contract negotiations.
While Karl and Sarah will be taking a break over the Christmas period, they are set to return to the Today desk on 19 January 2026.
It was revealed on Wednesday that Samantha would be filling in for Sarah on Today over the holidays.
However, fans have been assured that Sarah will return to her highly coveted Today post in the new year.

Samantha, 49, who has been hosting The Golden Bachelor over the past few weeks, will share the temporary breakfast show gig with Nova radio host Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli.
She recently addressed rumours she was set to replace Sarah on the Today show in the new year.
The TV veteran appeared on 2GB with Ben Fordham in October, where she was asked about the growing speculation that she would be returning to breakfast TV.
‘Ben, you know how this game works — these stories get planted, leaked,’ she began, before revealing that she had bumped into Sarah and comforted her in the wake of the headlines.
‘Sarah’s wonderful… I saw her at Upfronts – at Nine Upfronts – the other night.
‘We gave each other a hug and I said, “Are you okay?”
‘She’s good. Sarah and Karl are fantastic,’ Sam added.
