Karl Stefanovic shocked his Today show co-host Sarah Abo on Friday by making a crude joke about how he would love to kiss her husband Cyrus’ ‘delicious lips’.
Karl, 49, was discussing a spaghetti eating competition in Germany, where couples kissed at the end.
Sarah, 37, joked she wouldn’t share food with Cyrus.
‘I love spaghetti so much. I’m sorry, but I won’t be sharing it with anyone, it’s all mine,’ Sarah quipped.
‘Do you know what? I’d share it with Cyrus. Delicious lips, you can watch,’ Karl shot back.

A shocked Sarah then reprimanded Karl for being crude.
‘You always take it a step too far, don’t you Karl?’ she asked.
‘No, it’s not far enough,’ he retorted.
She may have one of the most high-profile jobs in Australian television, but Sarah Abo has worked hard to keep her personal life under wraps.

The Syrian-born presenter has been married to her husband Cyrus Moran since 2012, and the pair enjoyed a romantic honeymoon in Bali, Indonesia.
Cyrus works as a trader at a Melbourne steel mill and helps facilitate trade between Australian and international companies.
The couple, who do not have any children, quietly marked their tenth wedding anniversary in December when they attended the wedding of a close friend.

Both are graduates of Monash University, with Cyrus completing his Bachelor of Arts History degree in 2004, the same year Sarah began studying journalism there.
While Sarah usually keeps tight-lipped about her relationship status, she does occasionally post loved-up photos of her and Cyrus on social media.
Sarah officially joined the Today show, which also includes newsreader Alex Cullen, entertainment reporter Brooke Boney and weather presenter Tim Davies, on Monday, January 16.
She had been a familiar face to viewers of the Nine breakfast program, having filled in for former host Allison Langdon numerous times last year.
