Kanye West created an uproar on social media after announcing he is putting together a new choir, and looking for a particular kind of person.
The rapper, 47, who has pulled his daughter North, 11, into the Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs scandal, seemed to double down on his antisemitic actions as he put out a call for volunteers on X Saturday night.
‘THE HOOLIGANS Open casting call for volunteers,’ the post began. ‘Ye is putting together a hooligan choir to give the sound of the Vultures number one song Carnival.
Those interested in joining must be men and fit. ‘NO FAT PEOPLE’ they wrote.
More specifically those hoping to find a place in the choir must have ‘the skin complexion of Sean Combs and darker.’
The I Wonder artist has been a strong supporter of his fellow rapper, who is behind bars ahead of his trial on federal charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.
West’s latest single, Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine, even included what appeared to be a conversation between West and the imprisoned Combs.

The last requirement is a big ask as they ‘MUST BE COMFORTABLE WEARING SWASTIKAS.’
West introduced a new line of T-shirts with swastikas on them in February.
The reaction to the casting call was mixed, with some reacting angrily to the skin color and weight requirements.
‘Not dark or skinny enough, damn,’ one person quipped.
Others pushed back angrily.
‘This is straight-up clown behavior. If you’re begging for attention this hard, you’ve already lost. Swastikas? Fat-shaming? Obsessing over skin color? You sound like a joke trying way too hard to be edgy. Nobody with self-respect would waste their time on this garbage,’ contended one commenter.
‘JEWISH lives matter, BLACK lives matter, f**k slavery, f**k yo NARCISSIM and also- son- f**k you.’ wrote another.

West was dropped by his talent agency and lost most of his endorsements after he made some very public antisemitic remarks in 2022.
He was able to eventually get other representation, but was dropped by Los Angeles based talent agency 33&West in February over a new round of outlandish remarks, including one in which he wrote, ‘I’m a Nazi … I love Hitler.’
Last month, the Anti-Defamation League characterized the rapper’s behavior as ‘unacceptable and downright dangerous.’
ADL CEO and National Director Jonathan Greenblatt told Dailymail.com: ‘There is no excuse – none – for praising Hitler. Glorifying a genocidal dictator with swastika merch is not “edgy” or “controversial.”
‘When someone with Kanye’s influence spreads Nazi glorification, it emboldens extremists. It’s unacceptable and downright dangerous.’
