Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon not only humorously crashed SNL host Dakota Johnson’s opening monologue – but also brought back The Barry Gibb Show during the show’s latest episode.
The Cry Me A River singer, 42 – who reunited with the Fifty Shades Of Grey actress, 34, after working together nearly 14 years earlier – was also the musical guest during the fun night.
And during one of the sketches, both he and Fallon reprised their characters of brothers Robin and Barry Gibb in the recurring skit – which was first introduced back in 2003.
The duo opened up the skit by singing an intro as guests on the talk show were introduced, which were played by Dakota, Kenan Thompson and also Bowen Yang.
As Jimmy played the guitar, the two stars sang lyrics such as, ‘talking it up on the Barry Gibb Talk Show, talking ’bout issues, talking ’bout real important issues…’

After the intro, the pair sat down while dressed in 70s-inspired attire, and Fallon said – as Barry Gibb – ‘Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. We’ve got a great show for you tonight. This is my show, and it’s a no-nonsense show.’
He further pointed out that it is an election year, and when he asked if his brother Robin – played by Justin – had any comment, he replied with, ‘No. No, I don’t.’
Jimmy then asked Thompson a question based on the topic, and Kenan responded with, ‘Well, that’s an interesting question.’
‘Oh, is it? It’s interesting? You find it interesting?’ Fallon asked, his voice rising and becoming louder. Kenan simply replied with, ‘Yeah, I do.’
‘Well, I find you interesting, okay? You look like if Don King ate another Don King!’ Jimmy yelled out, clearly upset.
He continued to tell Thompson’s character, ‘Every month I will replace your shoes with an identical pair of one bigger size so you think your feet are shrinking. I fear nothing!’
‘I watched Saltburn with my entire family! And I knew about the bathtub scene beforehand, and I loved it!’ he said loudly. Jimmy then asked if his brother had any comment, and again replied with, ‘No. No, I don’t.’
Fallon then directed a question towards Bowen Yang, who began to call him by his name of Barry Gibb.

He went on another quick rant, and then directed a question towards Dakota’s character – but she interrupted him to answer before he could finish, which caused him to get upset.
‘How dare you interrupt me! I do not play! I am legend! You cannot break me!’ Fallon yelled. Shortly after, he asked his brother if he had any comment, but once again, he did not.
However, Bowen cut in to say that he had something to add which caused Jimmy to start yelling again, and soon resulted into Fallon and Timberlake jumping into song.
The sketch ended with a closing tune, and the other guests joined in by dancing in the background.
Earlier in the night, both Justin and Jimmy also briefly crashed Johnson’s monologue which kicked off as the actress stepped onto the stage and was greeted with applause and cheering from the live audience.
The star was effortlessly chic wearing a black, halter-styled jumpsuit that contained a large cutout on the front while a belt was wrapped around her waistline.
She happily expressed that it was ‘so great’ to take on hosting duties once again and reflected on the last time she had hosted the sketch comedy series, which was after SNL’s 40th anniversary.

Dakota reflected being in the audience during the show’s milestone, and pointed out other people in the audience, including Taylor Swift – who she dubbed as ‘the most powerful person in America’
‘And it’s really unfair. Because most of the time, I’m joking. Even when I was a kid, I didn’t take interviews seriously,’ the beauty said
She then showed a throwback clip to when she was on the red carpet with her father, Don Johnson, when she was 7-years-old. In the short video, a young Dakota could be seen hilariously rolling her eyes as her dad talked during an interview

Johnson then brought up her upcoming Marvel movie titled, Madame Web, which is slated to hit theaters next month on February 14th.
She joked, ‘It is in the Marvel Universe, and it also stars Sydney Sweeney. So it’s kind of like if AI generated your boyfriend’s perfect movie.’
‘I’ve been doing a lot of press for it, and I’m just not good at talking to journalists,’ the Persuasion star explained. ‘I think the big problem is that I say stuff, and then they write it down.’

The actress told the crowd that she was ‘excited’ to return to SNL, especially since she was able to reunite with Justin Timberlake – whom she starred with in The Social Network back in 2010.
Upon hearing his name, the singer suddenly appeared on stage, sneaking up to Johnson as she continued to speak, unaware of his presence.

He then said, ‘I remember those days, Dakota,’ causing her to give a startled jump. ‘Justin, what are you doing up here? Are you lost?’ she asked
‘I heard my name. I thought that was my cue,’ he simply said, causing the actress to explain he was just the musical guest
Suddenly, former SNL cast member, Jimmy Fallon, appeared on the stage, causing the crowd to applaud at his surprise cameo. He was dressed as Barry Gibb and quickly asked, ‘Are we doing it?’

Timberlake then hinted that he wanted to take part in a few sketches during the night, which caused the audience to erupt into cheering.
The performer added that he has hosted before, but Dakota cut in to say, ‘Yeah. Well, that was 10 years ago, so…’
‘Was it that long?’ he asked, with the SNL host replying with, ‘Well, I mean, either way, I’m so happy you chose my show for your comeback.’
‘Is that what we’re calling it?’ Justin asked, but Dakota assured him that she meant comeback ‘in a good way.’
At one point, the Mirrors hitmaker slowly took a step back to let Johnson continue her opening monologue, but stayed close behind her, saying, ‘I’m here if you need me.’

In one skit, which had been pre-recorded, Dakota portrayed the role of a mother who was knitting inside a living room with her husband, played by Mikey Day, their son, played by Andrew Dismukes and his grandmother – played by Sarah Sherman
He found one tape labeled as ‘Big Announcement’ and Mikey explained that it was the day he found out he was going to be a father
Andrew put the VHS in, expecting yet another sweet family memory. However, the tape turned out to be recording of an episode from The Corey Devitch Show – a parody of The Maury Show
‘Is he the father?’ host Corey could be seen asking towards the audience. Johnson then said, ‘You know you are, Ray. Your deadbeat a** is the daddy. Admit it!’
However, Day denied it, and the camera then cut to the present time, with Andrew asking his parents, who seemed unbothered by the tape: ‘What is this?’
At one point, the host said, ‘But wait, there’s another man who might be the father. And here he is, Amber’s coworker at Game Stop, Zach Barbacano, aka, Spooky’ – who was played by Marcello Hernandez
He appeared on stage as the audience booed him, and at one point, Corey put up a photo of the baby onto a large screen

Mikey then said, ‘Wait, wait, are we even sure this is a baby? I mean, look at this thing! Look like a d**n Benjamin Button. Say it with me, y’all, “Ugly baby”‘
As the crowd joined in on the ‘Ugly baby’ chant, Dismukes held an unhappy expression on his face as he watched the tape
The paternity results then came in, and Spooky announced, ‘Whatever happens, I still plan on being in this baby’s life,’ which earned him a warm applause from the audience
However, it was revealed that Mikey was the father of Dismukes’ character. As Spooky celebrated, Mikey got down on one knee and proposed but Johnson was less than thrilled
She told him to ‘get away’ and then picked up one of the chairs, and threw the object at Day
The camera then cut to Dismukes in the present day once again, a bothered expression on his face as he watched his parents fight
A brawl broke out between Mikey and Spooky, but the tape came to a sudden end. Dismukes then looked at his father and asked, ‘That’s why you need a cane?’

In another sketch, Dakota took on the role of a woman who was joining others at a book club at at a friend’s home
The group was talking about their thoughts on Colleen Hoover’s It Ends With Us

She explained that she didn’t read the book due to her mind being ‘a little bit elsewhere.’

She continued with, ‘Things have just been a little bit crazy. Since I got the call,’ but remained coy on the details.
When asked what the call was about, Dakota revealed that she had been asked to go on Shark Tank.
‘Yes, I have been sitting on a million-dollar idea, and after we shoot, things are probably going to be quite different. The power structure in this friend group is gonna shift,’ she said firmly.
However, her friends in the book club didn’t understand what the inventive part was. Heidi Gardner’s character then cut in to say, ‘Girl, I don’t know if that’s really Shark Tank material’
Johnson then once again explained her invention. ‘I distilled the entire human experience into three sentences. Don’t ask if I’m okay. I’m okay. But if everyone starts asking if I’m okay, I might start crying’
She asked Gardner the questions on the shirt, which eventually caused Gardner to admit that all was not well and started crying
Upon seeing the reaction, one of her other pals – played by Ego Nwodim – said, ‘I’ll give you 400K for 20% stake in your company’
However, another person gave a higher offer which turned out to be Barbara Corcoran from Shark Tank
