Justin Bieber flashes a smile as he makes rare move of taking his hat off following hair transplant rumors

Justin Bieber flashed a smile on a lowkey stroll in Beverly Hills on Monday – and made the rare move of not wearing a hat following hair transplant rumors that sparked up last year. 

The Peaches hitmaker, 31 – who recently stated that he has ‘nothing to prove’ in a defiant post – could be seen on the solo excursion in an eye-catching ensemble. 

The outing also comes as the singer has been engulfed in fan concern as well as worry over his marriage to Hailey Bieber. 

Justin kept it casual wearing a vibrant green hoodie as well as a pair of dark green shorts that had a pink trim. 

He additionally slipped into a pair of purple socks as well as white Nike sneakers to stay comfortable for the walk in a quiet neighborhood. 

Bieber – who is often spotted sporting a hat or beanie – opted to not don one for the stroll. 

Last year, speculation that the performer had undergone a hair transplant sparked up when plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Linkov suggested that Justin may have had the operation. 

At the time, he compared two photos of the star – one that shows the singer with a buzzcut in 2022 and another with voluminous locks that Bieber shared in 2024. 

‘When I look at his forehead, [the hairline is now] much flatter, it doesn’t have that recession,’ Linkov explained in a video uploaded to TikTok. 

‘And when the hair is wet, you can tell the regularity of the [hairline], so it looks like maybe he did have a transplant.’

He continued, ‘There’s no medication that’s going to turn a receding hairline around. I think, based on [photos], I would say, he has likely had a hair restoration surgery.

‘He started to wear all these hats [in 2022] and he’s covering up his hair so that it’s hard to tell what was going on.’ 

The New York-based surgeon – who also projected the star possibly had around 1,800 follicles transferred – added, ‘And remember, hair transplants can take up to a year, maybe a year and a half, to see final results.’ 

Justin’s latest excursion also comes amid fan concerns over the singer’s recent disheveled appearance and his marriage to model Hailey Bieber.  

Over the past weekend on Saturday, Justin jumped to his Instagram stories to share a message to his followers.

It read: ‘We have nothing to prove today. Just the gift of life today to accept and receive. Nothing is owed to us. And we don’t owe anyone anything.’ 

Despite the worry, both the singer and Hailey – who share baby boy Jack Blues – have continued to brush aside the concerns over their relationship by stepping out together on recent outings and also appearing on each other’s social media pages.

Earlier this month on March 1, the singer celebrated his 31st birthday and uploaded an assortment of pictures to Instagram, including one as both he and Hailey held their son Jack.

Another image showed the model as she sweetly wrapped her arms around her husband as they seemingly sang karaoke.

A few days later, he sparked concern among fans once again when he shared photos of himself smoking from what appeared to be a bong.

In photos shared to Instagram, the star could be seen sitting on an e-bike as the track titled Hits From The Bong by Cypress Hill played in the background.

Social media users jumped to the comment section of the post to share their thoughts, with one penning: ‘Aren’t you in your 30s? This is a post a 14 year old would make. Man up and be a DAD.’ 

Another wrote, ‘Get off the drugs and raise your son,’ while a fan also shared, ‘I hope Jack doesn’t have to be around all this smoke. A kid doesn’t deserve it.’ 

Late last month, the Baby singer had also shared a video to social media of himself smoking what appeared to be a joint. 

Late last month, Justin’s rep addressed worries over his disheveled appearance in a statement to TMZ.

‘The recurring narrative that Justin is using hard drugs is absolutely not true,’ the rep said, adding that the performer is currently ‘in one of the best places in his life.’

The star is also ‘actively parenting his newborn son’ Jack with wife Hailey and putting focus into making new music.

According to the rep, Justin has had a ‘very transformative’ year and ‘ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him.’ 

Speculation about his appearance and marriage is ‘exhausting and pitiful and shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.’

A source recently told DailyMail.com that while Hailey tends to ‘work all the time,’ the singer instead prefers to ‘chill with friends’ and is more ’emotional and leads with his heart.’ 

The insider further explained that, ‘He is always working on music and toying with new ideas, he always has a guitar in his hand, he is super creative, but he does not work as much as she does.

‘Justin already has so much success behind him, he is comfortable, he doesn’t need to prove anything. She is the leader and he doesn’t mind following her.’

Another source informed Us Weekly late last month that, ‘Hailey is trying to be as supportive as possible. It can be hard for Hailey, but she’s always there for him and is understanding.’

The insider added that the singer does not focus on the recent speculation and fan concerns and instead puts his focus on parenting son Jack.

‘He is a really great dad to Jack and is very protective over him.’

One source also told Us Weekly that the music artist is ‘happier than he’s been in a long time.’

The insider stated that ‘there’s no breakdown’ and added that the singer simply ‘just really doesn’t care what people think.’
