Speaking to Daily Mail following her dramatic wedding episode, the 27-year-old receptionist admitted while her nuptials seemed like a fairytale, she couldn't ignore the red flags
'When I saw him, I definitely felt excited… in the back of my mind, it was all too good to be true.'
And according to Juliette, that instinct may have been right.
'Near the end of the wedding, I felt like it wasn't how I thought it would be initially,' she said.
'It definitely took me by surprise… it wasn't the fairytale wedding as I thought it was going to be.'

While viewers watched Joel deliver a joke-heavy speech and lean into his flamboyant humour, Juliette said his vows were her first red flag.
'I thought he was nervous at the start,' she said.
'His vows initially were the first red flag for me… but I thought, you know what, it's probably just nerves.'
But as the day progressed, she began to question whether nerves were really to blame.
While viewers watched Joel deliver a joke-heavy speech and lean into his flamboyant humour, Juliette revealed his vows were her first red flag
'It started to feel like, wow, maybe it isn't nerves and he thinks this is a joke,' she admitted

She described his delivery as 'very performative' and said she was hoping to see a more raw, grounded version of Joel as the night went on.
'I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt,' she said.
However, it was Joel's mother's speech that ultimately shifted something inside her.
'It felt like my heart had sunk,' Juliette confessed.
'I've never experienced a mother talking about their son in a negative light like that before. It really shocked me.'

Despite that moment, she was quick to praise Joel's mum as 'beautiful' and 'really sincere' throughout the day - which made the speech all the more confusing.
Juliette also addressed criticism that Joel failed to properly greet her family and friends at the wedding.
'I feel like he didn't put in that much effort to get to know anyone,' she said.
Again, she initially brushed it off as nerves.

'You kind of assume it's just all nerves.'

In the limo ride after the reception, Juliette said Joel reassured her he was there for genuine reasons.
'He promised me that he was here for genuine reasons,' she said.
'All I can do is accept that… I've got to give him another chance.'
But when asked whether she felt like Joel believed he was the main character of the experiment, she didn't shy away.
'It was giving that a bit,' she admitted.
As for what viewers can expect from them at upcoming dinner parties, Juliette said she is hoping they can find some unity.

While Joel has already hinted at clashes with fellow bride Gia Fleur, Juliette painted a more nuanced picture of the dynamics within the group.
She revealed that both Gia and Mel approached her warmly at her wedding reception.
'Gia and Mel came up to me straight away… they were so lovely and beautiful to me,' she said.
'They made me feel really welcome into the group.'

Despite the ongoing tension between Gia and Bec dominating recent episodes, Juliette said she tries to see the good in everyone.
'I see the beautiful side in everyone, definitely - until proven wrong,' she said.
Asked whether she was worried about being pulled into one side of the feud, Juliette insisted her experience as an intruder bride was different to those who had been there from the beginning.
'I've had a completely different experience to everyone else,' she explained.
'Friendships changed, opinions changed, alliances changed.'

'It's definitely sad,' she said.
'It has taken away from love stories. The show is about trying to find love.'
She described being in the middle of the tension as 'overwhelming' and admitted it was initially difficult to know who to trust.
'At first, it was hard to figure out who to trust,' she said.
