Julie Goodwin has beaten a devastating injury to compete in Dancing with the Stars.
The 53-year-old MasterChef winner wowed fans with a stunning rendition of the Viennese Waltz on Sunday’s episode.
She also impressed the judges, scoring an impressive 27 points alongside dance partner Andrey Gorbunov.
Julie’s triumphant spin on DWTS comes after the fan favourite tore a calf muscle in two places while rehearsing for the dance competition.
In emotional scenes Julie’s performance won a standing ovation from the studio audience.
A clearly relieved Julie was seen to give dance partner Andrey a very long hug after completing their elegant waltz.
Fans were quick to congratulate the reality star after beating her painful injury.

It comes after Julie admitted she was ‘absolutely devastated’ at the thought of missing out on DWTS following her injury after doctors advised her on the seriousness of her condition.
‘I was in enormous pain when it happened – sweating bullets. It was the kind of pain that you can’t even sort of tell people “I’m Ok.” Because I wasn’t OK, I really wasn’t,’ she told Woman’s Day earlier this month.
‘I had to be carried out of the studio, because I couldn’t even put my foot down on the floor.’
Julie was told she by doctors that the injury was ‘very, very serious’.

‘When I got that news from the doctor, I thought, well “that’s the end of that.” I just felt shattered,’ she added.
The TV chef said she ‘put everything aside’ and committed to being as fit as she could be for the show.
‘I don’t give up that easy… I’m stubborn. The doctors can tell me what the doctors want to tell me and then I’ll take that under advisement and see if I can prove them wrong,’ she told the publication.

The moment Julie sustained the agonising strain was shown during Dancing With The Stars’ premiere, with the chef appearing in the studio to discuss the accident.
The footage showed Julie screeching in pain as her leg gave out while dancing, before she was shown getting the crushing news in hospital.
‘We need you to stay off that calf so we can give you every opportunity to be dancing as quickly as possible,’ doctors advised.
Despite the setback, Julie remained optimistic, telling hosts Sonia Kruger and Dr Chris Brown: ‘It’s gonna be alright… we’re gonna be alright. Bedazzle a moon-boot and away we go.’
Julie has been joined on the 2024 series of Dancing With the Stars by the likes of four-time Gold Logie winner Lisa McCune, fashion designer Nadia Bartel and singer Samantha Jade.
SAS Australia’s Ant Middleton, AFL stars Shane Crawford and Ben Cousins and Olympian and former senator Nova Peris are also strutting their stuff on the dance floor.
Rounding out this year’s competitors are comedian Nikki Osborne, Home and Away’s James Stewart, Better Homes and Gardens presenter Adam Dovile and chef Hayden Quinn.
