The Order of the Rising Sun is a Japanese decoration of honour awarded by the country’s government in April each year.
It is handed out to individuals from both Japan and abroad who have made distinguished contributions to the advancement of Japan.
Julie attended the investiture ceremony with her new partner, Perth man Stephen, by her side after she debuted their romance back in July 2023.
While little is known about Stephen, his Facebook profile shows him proudly standing behind a cafe racer style motorcycle, clad in a black leather jacket.
The pair have been spotted in several happy snaps on Julie’s social accounts since their relationship announcement, and even recently travelled to South Australia for a ‘fabulous outback adventure’.
