Thursday marked the YouTube premiere of Julia’s singing debut with Down the Drain (named after her 2023 memoir), which was filmed during two-time Grammy nominee Charli XCX’s ‘Party Girl’ night at East Village gay club Boiler Room on February 22.
In it, Fox donned a black fishnet top and repeatedly sang the lyrics: ‘I’m a b****, I’m a girl, I’m a mother, I’m a wh***. That’s all I have to say about that.’
On February 26, the Milan-born, Manhattan-raised provocateur publicly thanked the British 31-year-old singer for devoting part of her 75-minute set to her.
‘I love you forever, thank [you] @charli_xcx for sharing your moment with me,’ Julia – who boasts 3.2M Instagram/TikTok followers – gushed.
‘[You] are a *real* girl’s girl. Like [you] actually took that risk on me! Girl, what if I sucked and everyone left?’
Fox and retired celebrity stylist Law Roach will next co-host the reality TV design competition OMG Fashun, which premieres May 6 on E! Entertainment.
‘OMG Fashun is shaping the future of fashion, emphasizing sustainability, upcycling, and creative craftsmanship to restore integrity to this art form,’ the Pressiat FW/24 catwalker said in a statement.
