Julia Fox has revealed she looked to Victoria Beckham for inspiration with her role in Him.
The 35-year-old actress is set to play footballer Isaiah Savoury’s socialite wife Elsie White in the movie.
Speaking about who she looked up to for preparation, Julia shared that it was indeed no one other than Victoria back in the 2000s.
Appearing on the Capital Evening Show with presenter Jimmy Hill, the Uncut Gems star was asked how she got into the ‘right head space’ for the role.
Jimmy asked: ‘How do you get into the headspace to play somebody like Elsie? Who is essentially in this country we call her a WAG.’
Julia responded: ‘Yeah, she’s a WAG in America too.’

He continued: ‘How did you get ready for that role? She’s very glamorous,’ to which Julia confessed: ‘Immediately as soon as I got off the phone with Justin Tipping our director, I started googling photos of Victoria Beckham at the start of her and David’s career.
‘Just her in the stands and cheering him on and that really got me excited I was like ,”Oh my God this is so cool”.’
Jimmy replied: ‘I can see it now channelling VB!’
Him follows Cameron Cade (Tyriq Withers) as a rising quarterback who suffers a potentially career-ending injury after being attacked by an unhinged fan.
Just when all seems lost, Cam receives a lifeline when his hero, Isaiah White (Jim Jefferies) offers to train him at an isolated compound.
However, as the training accelerates, Isaiah’s charisma turns into something darker, sending Cam down a disorienting rabbit hole that may cost him more than he ever bargained for.

She told Allure Magazine: ‘I’m pansexual; I could be attracted to anyone and anything.
‘If it were just down to the physical, I’m more attracted to the female body.
‘Men don’t do it for me at all [physically], but I can be attracted to a man’s mind. I’m a vibes person.’

Julia added that she doesn’t miss being with men ‘at all’, saying: ‘The way my life is, I can’t see why a man would be beneficial.
‘I’m laser-focused on being a good mom, on being a good provider, on making my dreams come true.
‘There’s just so much more you can do with your time than waiting around to see if a guy’s going to text you back or not.
Opening up about discovering her sexuality, she said: ‘I think women have a harder time [realizing they’re queer] because we are so programmed to perform for men.’
