Paul McCartney made a touching tribute to actor Jude Law after spotting him in the audience of his Gold Coast concert on Saturday.
The Beatles legend had a camera zoom in on the Hollywood star while playing his hit song ‘Hey Jude’ to the 30,000 strong crowd at Heritage Bank Stadium.
Paul dedicated the song to the dashing English actor.
‘There’s someone I’ve always wanted to sing this song for and he’s in the audience tonight [meaning Jude Law],’ he told the crowd.
Jude looked delighted as he smiled and gleefully sung along, before kissing wife Phillipa Coan on the cheek.

The Talented Mr Ripley actor is on the Gold Coast to shoot a new movie Eden, which is being directed by Ron Howard.
Jude and Phillipa are notoriously private about their personal life but it is believed they met through mutual friends in 2015.
The couple married in 2019. Jude was famously married to actress and fashion designer, Sadie Frost, from 1997 to 2003.
Other big names at the show were Hollywood director Baz Luhrmann and singer Casey Barnes, who were both front and centre.

The Beatles superstar last played in Australia in 2017.
Last year, the famed singer-songwriter wowed audiences in the US and the UK with his 50-date Got Back tour, a marathon throwback show featuring his classic songs.
Reports estimate that the ‘greatest hits’ concerts earned a whopping $100million.
