Joy Corrigan and Todd Kraines got engaged Sunday while enjoying what she described as ‘an epic weekend’ at a Malibu resort.
The stunning model, 37, recently revealed she was expecting her first child with Kraines who proposed to her at the Calamigos Guest Ranch and Beach Club, sources told TMZ Tuesday.
Corrigan – who has been featured by Sports Illustrated, Playboy and Victoria’s Secret – was under the impression they would be spending a quiet ‘staycation’ at the idyllic Southern California hotspot.
Kraines proposed during what Corrigan believed was a dinner date, sources told the outlet, as he had a golf cart take them to a spot in the woods where a massive floral arrangement was set up.
Kraines told Corrigan that ‘the last six months with her have been the wildest ride but the best of his life,’ before dropping to one knee and proposing.
The question was not a total surprise – the pair had been shopping for rings recently, sources told the outlet – but Corrigan wasn’t expecting to hear it so soon.

After the proposal, the newly-engaged pair enjoyed a romantic dinner and informed relatives of the wonderful news, insiders told the outlet.
Corrigan shared a series of Instagram Stories posts Tuesday with her 764,000 followers in which she documented tidbits of the romantic summer weekend with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians personality.
In one shot, ostensibly linked to the engagement, the model was seen hugging a floral arrangement so enormous she was unable to wrap her arms fully around it.
She wrote she was the ‘luckiest girl’ with a heart eyes emoji, tagging Kraines into the post.
Her next post showed off the idyllic surroundings of the resort, including a large body of water.
Corrigan also documented the early days of what appears to be a fitness-oriented pregnancy, as she exercised in a gray one-piece athleticwear ensemble.
She was seen posing with her friends, including fellow model Ludi Delfino, as they got in a workout on the summer day.
Kraines on Tuesday spoke with TMZ about his ‘bun in the oven’ with Corrigan.

Asked what the child’s gender is, Kraines said he thinks they do know, but will ‘let Joy handle that part.’
He said that his model fiancee has been ‘glowing’ and ‘adorable’ amid the early days of her pregnancy.
Kraines said: ‘The first trimester was a little interesting, but now she’s she’s eating, so it’s good.
‘She’s a stickler with her food, and making sure the baby is all good.’
Kraines said that his family had been in touch with their longtime pals, the Kardashians, amid the flurry of life events.
‘I know Kris talked to my mom, so that was exciting, and she actually asked if it was true the news, and obviously it is,’ Kraines said.
Asked if he would name one of the Kardashians one of his child’s godparents, Kraines was stuck for an answer.
‘The godparents? I don’t know. That’s a maybe – maybe not. I can’t divulge too much information!’
