Newly-single Joshua Jackson put on a cozy display with actress Lupita Nyong’o at Janelle Monae’s LA concert recently – one month after his shock split from wife Jodie Turner-Smith.
The Dawson’s Creek star, 45, who shares three-year-old daughter Juno Rose Diana with his soon-to-be ex, looked to be taking his mind off his heartbreak as he sat next to the Oscar-winner, 40, and enjoyed a chat with her.
Joshua and Lupita were seen gazing into each other’s eyes and sharing a joke as they took in the star’s The Age of Pleasure show in Inglewood from their seats.
Joshua looked dapper in a white tee and black jacket while Lupita flashed her cleavage in a plunging black top and patterned blazer.
Lupita was also seen sharing a hug with pals and introducing Joshua to them.
While Joshua is single, Lupita has been in a relationship with TV host and sports commentator Selema Masekela, 52, since 2022.

In December Lupita shared a video on social media revealing her relationship with Selema, as they dressed in several different outfits.
The video was set to the song The King’s Affirmation – Chill Mix featuring Reuel Williams and featured the couple snapping along while changing into various outfits.
The star posted the video to her Instagram and captioned it: ‘We just click! @selema #thisismylove #nuffsaid.’
Selema is a sports reporter and the co-founder of the surf apparel company Mami Wata.
In April of 2022, Lupita joined her now boyfriend at the launch of his company in Venice, California.
Turner-Smith, whom Joshua married in 2019, filed for divorce on October 2, citing ‘irreconcilable differences.’
Turner-Smith’s divorce filing came as a shock to fans, as the couple appeared to have an unbreakable bond throughout their four years of marriage.
The couple began dating in 2018 — two years after Jackson split from Diane Kruger — and they tied the knot in August 2019.

Jackson and Turner-Smith welcomed Juno, their only child, in April 2020.
Celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser is representing Smith in the divorce, with the actress seeking joint custody of their daughter.
The date of separation is listed as September 13, one day after the pair attended a NYFW event together.
The actress is not requesting spousal support and the pair did not have a prenup in place.
In the aftermath of the divorce filing an insider told DailyMail.com, ‘Joshua is heartbroken over the impending divorce. He always thought that he would be married and grow old with his family, and everything would be happily ever after.’
‘He had the dream scenario in his mind, and Jodie was his person and the person he thought he would be with forever,’ a source previously told TMZ.
It was also noted that Joshua’s primary concern is his young child, as the Canadian actor is now anticipating a life of co-parenting.
‘He never wanted this for their daughter,’ the insider continued. ‘They both are great parents and will continue to be. He just hates that they won’t be together as a couple for their daughter anymore. They will always be connected through her.’

The person close to the situation claimed that Joshua would love to reunite with his estranged wife, explaining: ‘He would have loved nothing more than to still be with Jodie and in a perfect world would probably even take her back if she were to stop the divorce, but now that they have got to this place, he is going to have to accept it.’
The source also insisted that there was no bad behavior on either side, stating that the relationship had just reached a natural end.
‘Nothing horrible happened between the two, like infidelity. The relationship just went its course, and it is just a sad time,’ the person said.
‘Joshua isn’t thrilled about it, but as we all know, life doesn’t always work out the way you’d like it to work out.’
Joshua gushed about Jodie to E! News in September 2022.
‘She is undeniably one of the most beautiful women on the planet,’ he said. ‘And she always smashes it when she’s on the red carpet. That is truly a wonder to behold.’
He added, ‘But I will tell you, that there is nothing like waking up in the morning, opening my eyes and seeing her face in the morning.’
The actress previously revealed their romance started as a one-night stand. ‘When I first met my husband, we had a one-night stand,’ she shared on Late Night With Seth Meyers. ‘We’re in a two, three-year one-night stand now,’ she joked.
