Josh Hall Reveals Family Loss Days After Divorce from Christina Haack

Christina Haack’s ex-husband Josh Hall shared some sad news on Thursday.

The 44-year-old reality TV star revealed that his dog Stella passed away.

‘We know what we are signing up for when we get a pet; they will more than likely go before us,’ he began the post’s lengthy caption.

‘No matter how you prepare and how strong you think you are, nothing will prepare you for losing your loyal companion and the heartbreak that comes with it.’

‘I was originally set to get a male, but when I saw her little face behind the fence and we locked eyes, I was done…from that moment on, she owned me,’ wrote Hall.

This comes days after his divorce from Haack officially was settled over a year after their divorce proceedings began.

Haack and Hall did not have any children together, and, according to court documents.

Josh has taken the news of his dog’s death hard.

He also said that Stella was ‘the most loving and sweetest dog I’ve not only cared for’ and his ‘only constant.’

He also went on to describe the pet’s health battles. ‘I feel like she kept fighting… not just to stay alive, but to be there for me and show me her unconditional love,’ he wrote.

‘She did an incredible job and got me through it all.’

The judgment was filed in Orange County, California, on August 26 by Christina, according to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail.

Josh and Christina each waived their right to spousal support, which is a bombshell that has been revealed by the filing after the Christina on the Coast star said she had to pay ‘some’ spousal support.

Instead, she paid Josh an equalization payment of $300,000, on May 6, which was part of the equal division of the community estate of their Nashville property and was made to ‘resolve all other issues between the parties.’

Christina also paid $40,000 for Josh’s attorneys’ fees as well as the mediation attorneys’ fees from May. Each party is now responsible for the remaining attorneys’ fees going forward.

She previously paid him an unallocated sum of $100,000 in September 2024, which Josh doesn’t have to pay back, according to Us Weekly

Both parties were awarded their separate properties with Josh keeping his property in Thompson’s Station, Tennessee (known as the Bear Creek property), his 2021 Bentley, three other vehicles and his motorcycle.

Christina, for her part, was awarded a property in Newport Beach, California – which was a community asset – and their former home in Franklin, Tennessee, which was on-and-off the market.

She was also entitled to her 2022 Bentley, GMC, Polaris and four quads that were gifts to her children, which she noted.

The exes were awarded their separate businesses and bank accounts.

The judgment states, ‘Each party has knowingly and expressly waived and released his or her respective rights to complete full discovery, both formal and informal, relating to any issues and procedures and to investigate beyond what he or she has already pursued, the nature, extent, and value of community property (assets and liabilities) and the parties’ interest therein, and the financial circumstances of the other party.’

It further states that ‘each party has accepted the economic terms’ of the Stipulated Judgment.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Josh and Christina’s attorneys for comment.

A source told the Daily Mail, ‘This was one of the most fair divorces in reality TV history. Josh agreed to split everything he and Christina earned together, and they each walked away from the divorce with everything that they had made prior to the marriage. Josh bought each and every one of those cars on his own.

‘He voluntarily declined spousal support. Given there was no prenup, Christina should send Josh a thank you, but Josh is happy to never have to speak to her again… He couldn’t be happier.’

Last month on Jeff Lewis, Christina teased details of their ’12-hour mediation’ that took place between both parties and their lawyers.

‘Look, it’s not great, but I guess it’s done,’ she said.

She also revealed at the time that she had to pay ‘some’ spousal support, but was unable to go into detail since the final documents had yet to be signed off by the judge.

She teased that details would be ‘public knowledge soon’ and stated that she would return to the podcast to talk about everything.

However, court documents show that Josh waived his rights to spousal support, and, instead, there was a division of joint assets.

The couple did not sign a prenup prior to their marriage on October 6, 2021.
