Donna Mills was one of the hottest blondes in the 1980s.

And the 83-year-old actress still looks incredible as she was seen at the The Six Triple Eight LA Tastemaker event in West Hollywood on December 5.

This blonde beauty came to fame opposite Clint Eastwood in the classic 1971 film Play Misty For Me.

Shen then later was one of the highlights of the series Knot’s Landing.

The star took a break in the 1990s from work to raise her daughter, but has been acting again.

She was in the show Ladies Of The ’80s with Linda Gray, Loni Anderson, Nicollette Sheridan and Morgan Fairchild.

Last year the actress told First For Women what some of her tricks are to keep her Hollywood shape.

The beauty noted that carbs are out – so that’s a no to cinnamon rolls and bagels.

‘I love bread, I love dessert, I love ice cream and all those things, but carbs make me put on pounds so I try to avoid them,’ began Mills. ‘As a dancer eating protein was the way I had to eat.’

But she has found a way to enjoy some sweets: ‘I found a great Keto book and began to make some low and no sugar desserts out of it and they’re delicious.’

She also shared what she fixes herself for dinner.

‘I also make spaghetti squash instead of pasta,’ noted Donna.

‘I make my own out of fresh squash but you can buy it already made. I sauté a little garlic and butter then put that over it with a little Parmesan cheese. It’s divine and satisfying.’

Mills also shared what she does when she gets sleepy in the afternoon.

‘At around 4 o’clock in the afternoon I get sleepy all of a sudden I’m yawning I don’t like to drink coffee then because I won’t be able to sleep at night so I get out into the fresh air and take a brisk walk even just 10 minutes,’ said the pinup.

‘It wakes me up and refreshes me.’

And she reaches for the water instead of a soda.

‘Staying hydrated is also important for energy I never used to be aware of this I could go all day without drinking water but I began to realize that isn’t good for me,’ said Mills.

‘Now I drink about two large bottles a day I’d like to put a little lemon in the water for a little flavor or when exercising I add an electrolyte additive.’

In October 2023 she told AARP – The Magazine how she she stays young looking.

‘At age 60, 70, later, you have so much more to contribute—don’t just sit down and say, “I’m done,”‘ shared the screen icon.

    And she talked diet too.

‘During the soap-opera years I never ate pasta, sugar, bread, ice cream, cookies or any of that kind of stuff,’ said Donna.

‘Now I eat, but I’m still careful,’ she added. ‘I’m not a vegetarian, but I grow, pick and eat a lot of vegetables,’ she noted.

‘I also play tennis three times a week and work out with light weights. Like almost everyone my age I have arthritis, and let me tell you, it hurts sometimes.’

The Emmy winner has also appeared in the Jordan Peele thriller Nope, and stars in a Lifetime movie series, V.C. Andrews Dawn Cutler Series, to be released in 2023.

Mills became a first-time mother at the age of 54 when she adopted her baby daughter Chloe in 1994.

‘I was single, I was 54, and I badly wanted to be a mother,’ said the star.

‘It was not a tough decision to adopt. So I stopped working for many years while Chloe [now 28, a model and an executive at Soho House] was in school, and it was exactly the right thing to do.’

    Romance came later, she said.

‘I met [actor and producer] Larry Gilman at age 60. I lucked out. Before him, I kind of went for the bad boys. But when I met him, I just knew I was going for the not-bad boy,’ she said.

The star said she keeps in touch with her Knot’s Landing costars too.

‘Joan Van Ark and Michele Lee are still dear friends 40 years after we starred in Knots Landing. We even get together for the fans. And some show up wearing that dramatic eye makeup like my character, Abby!’

She shared that playing the villain on Knot’s Landing cost her friends.

She played scheming vixen Abby Fairgate on the Dallas spinoff Knots Landing from 1980 to 1989.

‘Back in the Knots Landing days, a lot of women were really standoffish to me in real life. I couldn’t figure out why. Then I realized it was my character. They thought I was going to take their husband!’

As far as her future, she wants to work more.

‘I’m in my third act and was recently cast in a new movie as a vicious, sadistic grandmother. And that’s what I really want next, a whole series—like Succession, which I love—where I can be evil to my heart’s content!’ she said.

During the interview with People, the Chicago native also shared some of her tips for maintaining her ageless beauty.

‘I usually work out every day,’ the octogenarian said. ‘Having been a dancer, I have my ballet bar in a little gym upstairs, and I just got a Peloton for my birthday.’

She added, ‘I do weight training and a lot of stretching.’

As to her diet, Donna explained, ‘I’ve always been a healthy eater. I don’t eat sugar. I don’t eat pasta. I don’t do starches.’

She continued, ‘I eat mostly proteins and vegetables. I love vegetables, which I grow — kale and arugula, tomatoes. My greatest pleasure in life is eating it right off the vine. I’m not a good cook. The only thing that I make that’s good is cheesecake.’

Donna told People, ‘For skin care, the main thing is stay out of the frickin’ sun! It makes such a difference. And somebody asked me, ‘Why don’t you get [cosmetic enhancements]?’ No, because I’m not going to look like a duck. I’d rather have lines than a duck bill.”

Key on his relationship with Peele: ‘A tragedy’

Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key have been longtime friends and work colleagues, but it turns out they don’t see each other ‘that often anymore.’

That’s according to Key, who first met the acclaimed filmmaker since his tenure at Chicago’s Second City more than two decades ago.

But through time and all the success of both men, who were each hired to work on the sketch comedy television series MADtv, they’ve seen their relationship change.

During a recent interview with People on Saturday Key recalled how he and Peel teamed up to create Comedy Central’s Key & Peele sketch series in 2012, but the duo have since drifted apart.

Key called the change in the dynamics of their friendship ‘a tragedy’, attributing it to how people reach a point where ‘your lives start to evolve and move in different directions.’

Keegan-Michael Key, 53, revealed how his friendship with Jordan Peele, 45, has changed and that they don’t see each other ‘that often anymore’

The Parks and Recreation star told the outlet that the pair actually lived together as they developed their professional partnership.

They would go on to win one Primetime Emmy Award from a total of 10 nominations during its run.

Eventually, Key & Peele wrapped on the Comedy Central gig in 2015 after three years, and then after about another decade had passed Peele and his actress-wife, Chelsea Peretti, built a home in Los Angeles.

‘We lived together for a few months and would write and talk about comedy — who we liked and why we liked them and how that worked in the architecture of what we were trying to build comedically,’ Key, 53, revealed.

As a result of all the time spent together getting creative helped they were able to get to a point where they ‘shared a creative language.’

As the Us writer and director was creating his new home life, Key and his producer wife, Elle, were living in New York City, which can create a distance not only in miles but also between people.

As a creative duo, the comedians picked up two Emmy awards for Key & Peele including the award for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series in 2016 and another that year for Outstanding Makeup achievements.

in all, the two men as a duo received 18 Emmy nominations over the years working together.

They went on to work side-by-side for season one of FX’s Fargo (2014), with the pair playing a couple of FBI agents investigating Billy Bob Thornton’s murderous Lorne Malvo.

As more reviews rolled in from highly acclaimed film critics dotted around the world, Monkey Man’s Rotten Tomatoes score went down to a stellar 88 per cent.

The vengeance-filled film, Monkey Man, centres around a young gentleman named Kid (Dev Patel), who is on a bloody pursuit for revenge after the death of his mother.

Produced by Nope’s Jordan Peele, we see the protagonist beaten blue by more well-renowned fighters every night whilst wearing a gorilla mask in exchange for pennies.

Following years of pent up rage, the poor countryside man sets out a plan to worm his way into the enclave of the city’s ominous elites.

As his childhood trauma begins to ignite an uncontrollable rage, the young man lets lose a terrifying campaign – with his mysteriously scarred hands – on the men who took what matters most to him.

Boasting a critic score of 88 per cent at last glance, the action packed thriller reminiscent of John Wick has received rave reviews from several film critics.

‘Just as Kid is reborn in the film, so too is Patel. It requires fighting a bloody battle, but what a beautiful sight it is to see,’ said Chase Hutchinson from The Wrap.

‘Forget John Wick, let no one doubt the power of action star Dev Patel again.’

‘It’s a muscular, emotional, ferocious triumph of a movie, and when it’s over, you’ll want to go right back in and watch it all over again,’ said the AV Club’s Matthew Jackson.

Giving the film a three out of five score, Adrian Horton from The Guardian said the film was not ‘the smoothest ride.

He added: ‘But as proof of concept for Patel’s action movie bona fides in front of and behind the camera, consider Monkey Man a success.’

‘Patel makes a fine hero. The actor is a consistently charming presence whose capabilities have only grown since Skins and his breakthrough role in Slumdog,’ wrote Hollywood Reporter’s Lovia Gyarkye.

The gory action thriller is shot using iconography from Hindu scripture, especially leaning on the widely worshipped figure of Hanuman.

An earthly incarnation of the god Shiva – the destroyer – Hanuman is half man and half monkey.

The deity is a supernaturally powerful figure who appears in the classic epic The Ramayana in the war against the demon-king Ravan and his army.

In flirting with Hindu iconography, the movie risks provoking controversy in India, where a Hindu nationalist party is currently in government and irreverence toward the majority religion has become an increasingly fraught topic.

Last year, outrage mounted online over Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer because a Hindu holy text, the Bhavagad Gita, is quoted in a sex scene.

In May, a fury erupted over the actress Deepika Padukone wearing an orange bikini in a sexpot musical number called Besharam Rang (Shameless Color), because saffron is regarded as a sacred colour in Hinduism.

Monkey Man was previously a Netflix project, however is was nabbed by Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw productions and is set to hit theatres on April 5.
