Married at First Sight UK couple Jordan Gayle and Erica Roberts have broken their silence following news of their split on Wednesday.
MailOnline exclusively revealed that the pair had end their relationship after months of bitter fallouts and arguments which caused their romance to turn toxic.
Now the reality stars have confirmed they have gone their separate ways and have asked fans not to look for a ‘villain’, insisting they have remained on good terms.
Taking to Instagram stories, both Jordan and Erica shared a statement regarding their break-up.
Erica penned: ‘We would just like to confirm that we are no longer together. This hasn’t been an easy decision for us both as we really wanted to make our relationship work.

‘I truly wish him all the best and there is no bad blood between us.’
It was reported that the pair had split after watching the MAFS’s dramatic reunion on Monday night which conjured up painful memories for the couple.
However, Jordan said the reunion was filmed five months ago and the former couple had shared several ‘special memories since’ then.
Jordan wrote: ‘Yes sadly we are not together anymore but not because of the reunion. It’s very sad the way this has come out and I’m not sure where it’s come from.
‘But there is a lot of noise coming from people who know nothing about what has happened… the reunion was filmed around five months ago and we have had great and special memories since then, some of them you’ve seen on our social media’s.
‘There doesn’t always have to be a villain in a break up and I just ask for everyone to to look for one.’
He concluded: ‘This is all I will say for now, I will speak again when the time is right but for now… I will be around those people who really know me.’

During the reunion the couple were filmed shouting at each other over their differences while Jordan felt Erica’s friend and co-star Adrienne Naylor had interfered in their dispute.
Jordan, who became embroiled in a physical altercation with Luke Worley, became known amongst the cast for his argumentative personality and would often be responsible for big rows at the show’s infamous dinner parties.
A source told MailOnline: ‘It was Erica that ended her marriage with Jordan… she did everything possible to make it work but sadly they struggled and in the end, she had no choice but to give up.
‘Jordan can be hot-headed and Erica’s looking for someone who’s a bit more laidback so in the end it was a constant personality clash.
‘Of course, both parties are upset and didn’t want this to be how their story ended but also in the long-term, it’s better for them both to move on.’
Jordan and Erica married after meeting for the first time at the altar and at first appeared to be the perfect match.
However, the couple started to row over the smallest detail and often struggled to successfully communicate.
In November, MailOnline revealed that Erica had even accused Jordan of betraying her after he was pictured in the back of a taxi with a mystery woman following a boozy night out.
Jordan insisted that he had remained faithful to Erica, saying the ‘accusation of him cheating was completely false.’
The couple were last seen having an almighty clash at the show’s reunion despite claiming their relationship was in a ‘good place.’

In an interview with MailOnline, Jordan previously told of his tough upbringing and witnessing his farther be physically abusive to his mother.
He spoke about hoping to meet the woman of his dreams on the show because he wanted to feel secure and have a healthy routine after struggling throughout his childhood with various moves.
Jordan said: ‘People might say I’m trying to be famous by doing a show like this, but I am the only person I believe who didn’t change filming the series.
‘My belief is in being the best person for the people I care about. I had given up on finding the right person… I wanted to find my forever person.
‘The biggest thing for me is having a stable and happy home and no matter what goes on in the day, it feels complete because I’m falling asleep with them.’
