Jonnie Irwin has given his fans a health update amid his terminal cancer battle as he revealed he has started hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
The TV presenter, 49, took to Instagram on Friday to share that he has been lent a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, sharing snaps of it set up inside his home.
Jonnie, who is battling terminal lung cancer which has since spread to his brain after being diagnosed in 2020, told fans how the therapy (HBOT) has been helping him.
HBOT involves breathing 100 per cent pure oxygen inside a pressurised hyperbaric chamber, where the increased air pressure helps the lungs collect more oxygen.
Giving an insight into the process, Jonnie shared selfies of himself sitting inside the chamber on his ‘comfy chair’ while wearing his specialised mask.
