Jonathan Majors got candid about his romance with girlfriend Meagan Good during their red carpet debut in Los Angeles on Sunday.
In his first public appearance since being convicted in a December 2023 domestic violence trial, the embattled actor, 34, appeared in high spirits at the AAFCA Special Achievement Awards luncheon where he admitted the couple were ‘in love’.
During an interview with Extra, the Marvel star said, ‘We’re in love… We’re doing good, thanks for asking.’
Meagan, who has been dating the Love Country actor since May 2023, chimed in too, saying, ‘We’re doing great. God’s good.’
The news comes after Jonathan, who is facing up to a year behind bars in his domestic violence trial against one ex-girlfriend, was accused of abusive behavior by two more of his former girlfriends.

Emma Duncan, one of them, asserted that her four-year relationship with the Emmy nominee commenced in 2015 during their time at the Yale School of Drama in New Haven, CT.
She detailed allegations of frequent threats of violence, including one incident where Jonathan reportedly threw her across a room.
Another ex-partner, Maura Hooper, asserted that during her relationship with Majors from 2013 to 2015, she became pregnant. She claimed that although he dropped her off at the abortion clinic, he failed to pick her up after the procedure.
Majors’ criminal defense lawyer Priya Chaudhry called both women ‘toxic’ during an interview with People.
His original sentencing date had been delayed until April 8 after his defense team filed a motion to set aside the verdict.
The Creed III actor was convicted in December of reckless assault in the third degree, a misdemeanor, and harassment in the second degree, which is a violation.
The charges stemmed from an alleged altercation between him and his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, which unfolded on the streets of Manhattan’s Chinatown neighborhood in March 2023.
Jabbari recounted in court that during a car ride, she noticed a suspicious text on his phone hinting at infidelity, prompting her to grab the device.
According to her testimony, the actor proceeded to harm her, forcibly removing her finger from the phone, hitting her head while attempting to snatch the device, and ultimately tossing her back into the car.
Surveillance footage also captured Majors shoving Jabbari into the vehicle and later, she was seen chasing him down a street.
However, Majors has adamantly denied the accusations and during a recent interview with ABC, he expressed that he had been ‘shocked’ by his guilty verdict.
‘I have never hit a woman. I have never struck a woman,’ he stated, adding that both he and his attorneys believe it is unjust that he was prosecuted ‘as a black man’ while his ex, who is white, was not – despite her chasing him down a street and also being arrested.
During an interview with Extra , the Marvel star said, ‘We’re in love… We’re doing good, thanks for asking.’
Majors claimed he’s never hit a woman ‘ever’ when he spoke to ABC News on January 8, but admitted he does demand that his partners have the grace and manner of Coretta Scott King or Michelle Obama since he’s a ‘great man’
On December 18, the Loki star was found guilty of misdemeanor third-degree assault and one count of second-degree harassment against his 31-year-old ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari (R, pictured in 2022)
‘I was absolutely shocked and afraid. I am standing there… I say “how is that possible? Based off the evidence, based off the prosecution’s evidence, how is that possible?'”
In regards to Jabbari’s injuries, he stated that he does not know how she sustained them. ‘I wish to God I knew. That would give me some clarity, some type of peace about it.’
Following his arrest, Majors faced professional repercussions as Marvel Studios severed ties with him.
Subsequently, he also experienced removal from the cast of the Dennis Rodman movie, 48 Hours in Vegas.
