JoJo Siwa has been praised by Celebrity Big brother fans for her ‘kindness and maturity’ after Mickey Rourke’s homophobic comments.
The Dance Moms star, 21, was reduced to tears by Mickey during Wednesday’s episode when he made a revolting homophobic threat to ‘tie her up and convert her’.
While chatting with the singer, who is a lesbian, the actor, 72, insinuated he will be able to ‘make her straight’ after spending a few days with him in the house.
Later in the garden, Mickey asked Chris if everyone had to vote one another out of the house as the Wrestler star confessed: ‘I’m going to vote the lesbian out real quick.’ YoJo overhears as she hits back: ‘That’s homophobic, if that was your reasoning.’
Defending JoJo, Chris interjected, ‘You can’t do that Mickey,’ yet the star was undeterred as he added: ‘I need a fag’ before gesturing to JoJo and adding: ‘I’m not talking to you.’
But JoJo has since been hailed ‘the people’s princess’ by viewers after how she handled the horrific situation, which saw Mickey make repeated homophobic and misogynistic comments towards her.

The Dance Moms star, 21, was reduced to tears by Mickey during Wednesday’s episode when he made a revolting homophobic threat to ‘tie her up and convert her’
They wrote: ‘Jojo Siwa is really great, isn’t she? A mature, smart, young woman,’;
‘The way jojo was nothing but kind to that man when she had every opportunity to tell him to shut the f*** up,’;
‘Jojo has more patience than me because if that old man started brushing his teeth in the kitchen sink in front of me i would’ve lost it,’;
‘Oh i’ve seen enough jojo and chris final two,’; ‘Jojo is the people’s princess i fear,’;
‘Jojo handled that situation with mickey SO well,’; ‘JoJo is my early winner after tonight. She handled everything so well,’;
‘Jojo’s face when Mickey was being a homophobic rat to her broke my heart. She handled herself so well when she’d be so justified in losing her shit, I’m rooting for her. I hope she kicks him out,’;
‘”Jojo siwa could win this” was on nobodies bingo card, but here we are, and I for one, couldn’t be happier that she is getting to show herself!’
JoJo was left visibly upset by the exchange as Chris comforted her, before Mickey was then called to the Diary Room and was issued a warning.

Big Brother told him: ‘Mickey before you entered the Big Brother house the rules regarding unacceptable language and behaviour were explained to you.’
He then read back the entire exchange to Mickey and said: ‘Mickey, do you understand how this language could be offensive to your Housemates or the viewing public?’
Mickey replied: ‘Yeah I think so. If I was saying it in a nasty kind of way or if I truly meant it.’
Big Brother continued: ‘Mickey, Big Brother thinks your language was offensive and unacceptable.’
‘Alright. I can understand that,’ Mickey agreed.

Big Brother then issued the star with a formal warning and explained: ‘Further language or behaviour of this nature could lead to you being removed from the Big Brother house. Mickey, do you understand?’
Mickey then added: ‘Yes I do. It’s some serious stuff.’
Prompted by Big Brother he finally said sorry as he confessed: ‘I apologise. I don’t have dishonourable intentions – I’m just talking smack you know.
‘I wasn’t taking it all so serious. I didn’t mean in it any bad intentions and if I did, sorry.’
