JoJo Siwa has shared a health update after being rushed to hospital in ‘excruciating pain’ just hours ahead of her latest show on Friday.
The Dance Moms star, 22, took to TikTok and revealed she’s been left ‘unable to breathe’ and ‘almost blacking out’ before doctors discovered a cyst on her ovary had burst.
In the lengthy post on Saturday JoJo recalled being in so much pain she needed her mother’s help to dress before the emergency services whisked her off to hospital.
‘We said [to doctors] look, obviously if something is like we, we need emergency surgery wrong or something like, obviously there are other options, but there are a lot of people at the Mall Of America waiting and counting on this performance’.
JoJo went on to say how she was soon ‘dancing in her hopsital bed’ thanks to the pain relief, before an ultrasound uncovered the burst cyst was bleeding into her stomach.
After medics told the dancer the situation should resolve itself, she put on a brave face and continued with her planned perfomance at a Minnesota mall.

JoJo thanked her fans for their support, admitting she was ‘not 100%’ and would need to return to the hopsital if the pain continued.
She captioned the post: ‘Thank you for all the well wishes, grateful for the Doctors and Nurses for working so fast and helping me get back on time, keep it pushing’.
An ovarian cyst is a fluid-filled sac that develops on a woman’s ovary. They’re very common and don’t usually cause any symptoms.
Most ovarian cysts occur naturally and disappear in a few months without needing any treatment.
JoJo shared footage of her energetic perfomance following her hospital stay as she sung a string of hits including her new festive single, a cover of Message To The World (Little Drummer Girl).
Last week JoJo announced she was taking a major step in her relationship with Chris Hughes as she took to Instagram to reveal they will be spending Christmas together.
Sharing loved up snaps in their festive pyjamas, the Dance Moms star looked adoringly at the Love Island star, 32, as she explained she will be travelling to the UK for December 25.
The star will celebrate Christmas in America with her family a week early before she heads overseas.

Updating her followers she penned: ‘My favorite season. I’ve spent the last three days prepping and getting ready for the holidays, and it’s been LOVELY.
‘It might seem early however, today I start rehearsals for my Black Friday performance at Mall of America and then I go to a couple of dance studios for meet and greet/classes and then it’s my mom‘s birthday and then we celebrate Christmas with my family a week early, so I can travel to England for Christmas!… long story, short, it’s christmas now:)’.
JoJo struck up an unlikely romance with Chris after they met on Celebrity Big Brother UK earlier this year.
And after things progressed from a friendship to a romance, their relationship has gone from strength to strength with Chris being openly welcomed into JoJo’s family.
During her tour last month JoJo even referred to Chris’ parents as her ‘future in-laws’ after his entire family attended her concert in Birmingham.

JoJo told the crowd she had some ‘guests of honor’ in attendance for the show.
Chris, who himself surprised JoJo at the show by presenting her with flowers backstage, could be seen sat alongside his parents Val and Paul and his brother Ben in the venue, joined by the singer’s parents Tom and Jessalynn.
Footage from the show then showed JoJo sharing a sweet nod to Chris’ parents being in attendance, joking she was going to be on her ‘best behavior’.
She said: ‘Val give us your best wave from up there, do you have a good wave? In case that anybody doesn’t know, that’s the person who gave birth to my favorite person in the world. That’s the mother of the boy that makes me really happy.
‘I’m very delighted to have the guests of honour tonight, Val and Paul Hughes everyone.’
‘It’s going to be a good show, I am on my best behavior this show,’ JoJo added, with the crowd then launching into a sea of boos.
JoJo then hit back: ‘Guys! My future mother and father in law are in the room. I can’t full on freak too hard tonight.’
Ahead of the concert, Chris surprised JoJo backstage with a bouquet of flowers, admitting that he made the impromptu decision to come to the show as he wasn’t going to see her ‘for a little while.’
