JoJo Siwa will be the focal point of a forthcoming docuseries in a professional reunion with Dance Moms creator Jeff Collins.
The docuseries, set to be produced under Collins’ Resilient Content company, will examine the life of the Karma vocalist, 21, on a personal and professional level, according to Variety.
The series centered on the Omaha, Nebraska native falls under a pact Collins inked with Sony Pictures Television – Nonfiction, according to the publication.
In the docuseries, ‘cameras will get an in-depth look into her creative process as she charts her course as an adult pop star – evolving from the beloved child star audiences adored on screen,’ Resilient Content told the outlet Wednesday.
Siwa ‘will reveal what it’s like to be one of the world’s most famous 20-year-olds running various businesses, fulfilling a recording deal, and living by herself for the first time,’ the production company said.

Both Siwa and members of ‘her inner circle’ will provide narration and insights on the docuseries.
‘For the first time, audiences will get a glimpse of the persona as she reveals who she is in the quiet moments away from the blaring lights of the stage,’ according to Resilient Content.
Siwa addressed the forthcoming creative endeavor in an Instagram post Tuesday, as she shared a screengrab of the story.
She captioned the image: ‘Here’s your seatbelt. Buckle up. Thank you @variety for the announcement.’
Siwa got her start in 2013 on the Dance Moms spinoff Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition, also a Collins production, before she began appearing on Dance Moms.
She rose to fame appearing on 62 episodes of Dance Moms from 2015-2024, spanning the reality show’s fifth through ninth seasons.
Siwa, who has been busy this summer performing at festivals from London to Los Angeles, is slated to put out an EP titled Guilty Pleasure on Friday.
The record will feature her popular single Karma, in addition to four additional tracks, with a music video for the title track set to be released in conjunction with the EP on Friday.

Siwa earlier this year worked as a judge on four episodes of the 18th season of So You Think You Can Dance, returning to the Fox reality competition two years after she was a judge on the show’s 17th season. Siwa was also seen on the second season of the Fox series Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test in 2023.
In 2021, she appeared on the 30th season of the ABC ballroom competition Dancing with the Stars, achieving a milestone in performing as part of the first same-sex couple on the show with pro partner Jenna Johnson.
Other notable creative endeavors she’s been involved in include a Facebook Watch show titled JoJo Goes; a musical titled The J Team on Paramount+; and a Peacock show titled Siwa’s Dance Pop Revolution.
