John Schneider and Dee Dee Sorvino Wed with The Dukes of Hazzard Car

Newly-married John Schneider and Dee Dee Sorvino shared a kiss as they celebrate their wedding at the Watermark Hotel in Baton Rogue, Louisiana. 

The couple exchanged vows during a surprise ceremony in Las Vegas on July 23 after first meeting in Los Angeles last summer. 

John, 64, best known for his role as Bo in The Dukes of Hazzard, posed for photos with his wife Dee Dee, 55, in front of a 1969 Dodge Charger, named the The General Lee, which was made famous in the series. 

Toasting to their marriage, TV personality Dee Dee made sure to dress the part as she coordinated her outfit with the car. 

She opted for a black lace top and tiered orange skirt, complete with a fun pair of cowboy boots.  

Meanwhile, John looked smart in a dark grey suit, that he teamed with a white shirt. 

Dee Dee was previously married to Goodfellas star Paul Sorvino, who passed away from natural causes in July 2022 aged 83.

John’s third wife Alicia Allain Schneider died from breast cancer aged 53 in February 2023.

The new couple have previously spoke out about how the recent loss of both their spouses, within the past two years, brought them together. 

Dee Dee revealed how the late actor gave her his blessing to marry 80s TV icon John Schneider – two years after his death.

John and Dee Dee wed in Las Vegas last month after a secret 11-month romance.

John was staggered by the romance: ‘I didn’t think the laughter would ever happen again,’ he said.

But showing off their emotional and comedic connection, Dee Dee teased they have sexual chemistry too as their marriage is filled with ‘lots of physical activity.’ 

They hope their marriage will inspire others dealing with grief to find love again.

Few friends had been aware they were dating before they tied the knot at the drive-thru venue – in a ceremony overseen by officiant and longtime Elvis impressionist Ron DeCar.

Speaking on the red carpet at the event, Dee Dee confessed that Paul, who passed from kidney issues and pneumonia in Florida in July 2022, ‘absolutely’ endorses this new union.

Tearing up she said: ‘There is no doubt in my mind that Paul Sorvino sent John to me. I am absolutely sure of it. I heard him.

‘I’ve gotten a lot of messages in my dreams and I just know it.

‘He told me many times before he died, because he was sick, ‘I really want you to find love’.

‘I said, ‘no way. It’s not happening. There’s no way there’ll be anyone after you.’

‘And then Paul brought me, John, I’m convinced. And so grateful again, you’ve got to have gratitude.’

Devastated Dee Dee expected to end her days alone after her Law And Order actor’s husband’s passing.

‘It was really tough before. I was so sad. I tear up thinking about him always, and then I met this one,’ she gushed, looking at John. 

‘I never thought I would find anyone. And then John came and was a miracle…Paul sent him to me.’
