Joel Dommett will host two episodes of Lorraine next week.
The comedian, 38, is normally unveiling singing celebrities on The Masked Singer but will now be interviewing fellow famous faces as he takes the reins from Lorraine Kelly on her eponymous daytime show.
Joel will also bring his wife Hannah – with whom he has son Wilde, eight months, – into the studio along with his mum Penny, who will host a segment about gardening.
He told The Mirror: ‘I can’t believe I’m going on Lorraine for two days! I love being a guest and I’m so excited to be temporarily filling her wonderful shoes.
‘It’s the comfiest seat on telly by far so I can’t wait to sit on it for a full hour. Tune in for some wholesome morning niceness.’

Lorraine herself is also thrilled that Joel will be stepping into her shoes while she has some time off.
She said: ‘I’m so happy we can unmask Joel as the host of my show on Thursday and Friday of this week.
‘He will be keeping my sofa warm for me whilst I’m away.
‘This s a first for Joel and I know he’ll do a wonderful job.’
‘He’s one of the best in the business and I couldn’t be more pleased to be handing him the reins for a couple of days’.
In January , Lorraine was unmasked as Owl on The Masked Singer, having belted out tracks like Kylie Minogue’s Padam Padam and Don’t Stop Movin’ by S Club 7 while in disguise.
The daytime legend – who recently revealed she is soon to become a grandmother – is often stood in for on her own show by the likes of Loose Women anchor Christine Lampard and Ravnir Singh from Good Morning Britain.
Earlier this year, Lorraine became the butt of a joke on a viral Twitter page called Where Is Lorraine?, which calculates just how many episodes she has actually hosted over the course of the year.

Speaking with host Anita Rani, Lorraine admitted she was aware of the account, which now has over 12,000 followers, as she admitted: ‘I know, the amount of space that I occupy in people’s heads is quite bizarre’
Called Where Is Lorraine?, with the handle @LorraineKWatch, the account updates followers on whether or not the Scottish star has hosted the show that day
Insisting the account doesn’t bother her, she explained: ‘Its fine. I don’t mind, I don’t care. I probably would have cared before but I really don’t now it’s absolutely fine.’
The star went on to explain the real reason she had been missing from a number of shows lately as she is taking some time off to care for her mother who is unwell.
Lorraine continued: ‘But you should never comment on things like that if you don’t know what is going on in people’s lives but I am having to take quite a few Fridays off because my mum is really not well.
‘So I can go home now and spend some more time with her and help her a bit more than I have been able to. So that is happening just now but that will change.
