The Australian comedian, 35, showcased his shock new look in this week's Stellar magazine, as he confidently flaunted his newly developed muscular frame and toned upper arms.
He has also said goodbye to his trademark boyish looks and now sports a thick beard and piercing gaze, looking much more mature and confident as he steps into his new role.
However, Joel still had his trademark cheeky grin as he gave readers a hint of what they could expect on his new drive show.
'It kind of feels like the charming, handsome, charismatic, wonderful bosses at Nova have realised it's a weird time in radio, and in the world... and they've gone: YOLO,' Joel quipped.
'Let's just see how much damage you can really do. Let's just pour some more fuel on the fire.'

The veteran presenter,
'When this timeslot came up, I thought: it's time to put on my big boy pants and tackle it solo. Plus, I'm time-fluid. I don't think anybody on planet Earth would be trusting me with a breakfast radio slot,' he said.
He added that he was confident his show would be a success - but had a back-up plan if it wasn't.
'I no longer have anyone to blame, but I can assure you, I will find somebody. Some of the best advice I ever got came from Gretel Killeen. She said to me, "If something goes wrong, just blame anyone. No-one knows if you're lying." So that's what I will do,' he joked.
The Joel Creasey Show is a weekday program that launches on Nova on Monday, April 20 at 1pm.
In January, Joel revealed his big career move after it was announced he wouldn't be show.
Nova announced a huge shake-up when the station revealed it has axed Fitzy & Wippa with from the early morning slot and replaced them with Ricki-Lee & Tim.

But fans of their current Drive show were left confused when comedian Joel didn't appear to be included in the announcement, despite being the third on their team.

The veteran presenter, who previously co-hosted Nova's breakfast show alongside Ricki-Lee Coulter and Tim Blackwell, said he was excited - and a bit nervous - to now be going solo
'What were they thinking! You'll be able to hear The Joel Creasey Show nationally at lunchtimes.'

'And yeah, I guess the boss has figured the world is already on fire. Let's just pour more gasoline onto it and see what chaos he can cause!' he joked.
Co-host Tim later quipped to Joel: 'When you think about it, lunchtime for you is kind of breakfast radio for you… we're all kind of getting up earlier.'
'You've got your own version of breakfast!' Ricki-Lee added.
'I really do! That is my breakfast,' Joel responded.
It comes after news broke that Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie would be leaving the Breakfast time slot and shifting into national Drive instead.
Hosts Ryan 'Fitzy' Fitzgerald, Michael 'Wippa' Wipfli and Kate Ritchie announced the news in January.
