Joe Wicks sparked concern among Instagram followers on Saturday as his five-year-old daughter Indie cooked him a steak using a very large knife.
The fitness star, 38, shared a video of his oldest child taking charge in the kitchen as she prepared and fried the steak all by herself with only verbal assistance from Joe.
Indie was seen placing the steak on a sizzling griddle pan before later flipping it over and removing it from the heat to slice the ribeye into small piece with a sharp knife.
Joe said: ‘That’s a proper sharp Japanese knife that’.
However, fans were left horrified that Indie was using a large steak knife to chop and cut whilst stood next to her younger sibling Marley, four.

It sparked fears for her safety as many slammed Joe for his parenting as they argued that a five-year-old should not be handling such a large and dangerous knife.
‘I’m a big Joe fan but….. bizarrely no one mentioning the knife? Completely unnecessary for a child to be using that with another even younger child next to them. Accident waiting to happen unfortunately.’
‘Man casually says “That’s a proper sharp Japanese knife” as child moves it way too close to little sister’s arm; That knife.. and Marley put his hand right near it. If you want to prove you like to teach your children to cook! Then only have one child on the stool while she’s cutting with such a big knife.’
However others praised Joe for allowing his ‘children to explore’ and learn how to use the tools ‘responsibly’ and under ‘supervision’.
‘Well done Joe letting your children explore and being responsible under your supervision. What a beautiful family you have; Amazing!! It’s so refreshing to see a child in the kitchen being sensibly supervised and cooking with her dad.’
Another added: ‘Brilliant. And I love that she is learning to handle knives and heat at a young age; This is absolutely brilliant. Learning skills and how to handle knives safely at a young age is exactly what’s needed. She knew exactly what she was doing and was clearly under supervision. Excellent video.’
MailOnline have contacted Joe Wicks’ representatives for comment.
It comes after Joe revealed he is ‘so excited’ for his wife Rosie to give birth to their fourth child as the pair celebrate reaching the 30 week mark.
The Body Coach, who ‘always wanted six kids,’ currently shares eldest daughter Indigo, Marley and youngest daughter Leni, two, with his former glamour model wife Rosie, 34.

But now the family, who live in a luxury £4.4million home in Surrey, are over the moon and are eagerly waiting to become a family of six.
The fitness guru took to Instagram to share the happy news with his 4.7million followers.
He wrote: ’30 weeks pregnant. Soon our family of 5 will become 6. So excited to meet the next addition to our crew. What do you think? Boy or girl?’
Previously speaking to Unfiltered Magazine, he said: ‘Well, I’ve got three kids, and you might think I’m mad, but we actually want like six kids.
‘It seems ridiculous, right? You think that’s a big number.
‘But the reason I love, I meet families when I do these tours and I do the PE with Joe tours and I see kids, five kids, six kids, and I just love the energy and just the culture of that family – all into fitness, all into exercise.’
