Joe Jonas has opened up to fans about his friendship with a very famous Hollywood actor and revealed that the star in question has left him on read for an entire year.
Taking to TikTok on Sunday, the 35-year-old singer admitted that he texted Dune star Timothee Chalamet back in December 2023 and still hasn’t received a reply – and he even has the evidence to prove it.
Posting a screenshot of the text message he sent, which read: ‘Miss you,’ along with a selfie, Joe told his 6.4 million followers: ‘Last December I sent Timothee Chalamet a text from my friend’s phone anticipating a response.’
The second slide was a more serious selfie of Joe looking suave in a pair of sunglasses and a navy blue jacket as he gave an update and wrote: ‘This December he still hasn’t texted back. Hope this helps!’
Joe’s followers were quick to comment on the video and came in thick and fast with their most sarcastic replies.
‘He’s just thinking of a good response, it’ll come soon enough,’ one person wrote.

Another person admitted: ‘I’m just concerned Timmy doesn’t have an iPhone.’
Joe, whose divorce from Sophie Turner was finalized in September, is currently spending time in London, where his ex-wife resides.

Last week, he braved the cold British weather and flaunted his chest tattoo in a low cut T-shirt as he enjoyed a night out at popular celebrity hotspot Chiltern Firehouse.
His outing comes shortly after his ex spoke about how they had a ‘beautiful relationship’ and admitted their divorce was ‘incredibly sad.’
The former couple were married for four years before they called it quits in late 2023, with Joe filing for divorce.
They finalized their divorce September of this year, a little over a year after initially filing for legal separation.
Shortly afterwards, mother-of-two Sophie told Harper’s Bazaar that she couldn’t talk much about the divorce for legal reasons but admitted it had been ‘hard’ for her.
Meanwhile, Joe has not spoken much about their separation but has also been dating like his ex has.
‘I’m going through a legal process right now where I can’t really say much, but it was incredibly sad,’ Sophie told the outlet in late October.
‘We had a beautiful relationship,’ she said about her marriage, before adding: ‘And it was hard.’
