He’s never, ever, ever getting back together with ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, but Joe Alwyn was still in good company as he piled into a taxi with actresses Ellie Bamber and Saffron Hocking on Tuesday night.
The actor was evidently in the mood for a late one after attending the Dunhill pre-BAFTA filmmakers’ dinner at Bourdon House in London, where he was joined by an array of stars.
Conversations With Friends star Alwyn, 32, will likely be scrutinized for reasons that have nothing to do with his acting career when ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift releases surprise new album The Tortured Poets Department on April 19.
Swift, famed for using ex-boyfriends as inspirational fodder for her lyrics, was involved in a seven-year relationship with London based Alwyn until 2023.
But the actor had other things on his mind as he held court with Bamber, 27, and Hocking, 32, in the back of a black cab after leaving the Mayfair venue.

Swift’s devoted fans have warned Alwyn about the potentially revealing content within her new album, which features songs with titles such as So Long London and I Can Do It With A Broken Heart.
Swifties took aim at the British actor – who feels it would be ‘shady’ for the popstar to diss him – after the 34-year-old A-lister dropped the 17 song titles for the highly-anticipated LP.
The Anti-Hero singer announced the latest album at the Grammy Awards and has now has shared the track listing for the record.
Swift took to Instagram to share a photo of some artwork, which featured a black and white photo of herself and ‘I love you, it’s ruining my life’ written over her shoulder as well as the list of songs.
Meanwhile insiders say Alwyn will be ‘shocked’ if his ex-girlfriend divulges negative details about their relationship – and feels it would be ‘shady’ for her to ‘diss’ him in any way given that he’s remained so stoically silent about their split.

‘Joe has not said one word about Taylor or their breakup and has been completely respectful of her,’ an insider told DailyMail.com exclusively.
‘It’s undeniable that the name of her upcoming album is in reference to Joe’s WhatsApp group chat.
‘Taylor knocked him for the name of this when they were together. She didn’t want people to think that it had anything to do with her, so when he spoke out about it, she was, of course, bothered.’
The insider continued: ‘Joe has no reason to believe yet that she is going to diss him or their relationship.
‘She writes about her past using code and points of reference. It may just be that she is reflecting on their time together and he is hoping it is nothing more.
‘If it is a diss album, that is shady. He helped her with song writing on her past album so it will really come as a shock to him if she talks about their breakup, as it is something he has not spoken of at all.’
