The BBC lead the nominations with 51 nods across 30 categories including all three nominations for the Breakthrough Awards with Ashley Thomas for Great Expectations, Hamza Yassin for Hamza: Birds Of Prey and Lucy Edwards for Japan – The Way I See It – The Travel Show.
Channel 4 received 17 nominations. Leading the way was comedy drama Big Boys which received a nod for Comedy Drama, Comedy Performance – Male for actor Jon Pointing and Jack Rooke for Writer – Comedy.
In the Leading Male category, Gary Oldman was nominated for Apple TV+ Slow Horses, Kane Robinson for Netflix’s Top Boy and Timothy Spall for the BBC’s Sixth Commandment.

In the non-scripted categories, The Graham Norton Show, Rob & Romesh Vs and Taskmaster were all nominated for Comedy Entertainment.
Meanwhile, BBC stars Alex Scott and Gabby Logan, and Sky Sports’ Nasser Hussain were nominated for Sports Presenter, Commentator or Pundit.
