Jodie Turner-Smith has reportedly accused ex Joshua Jackson of attempting to gain sole legal custody of four-year-old daughter Juno in the wake of their split.
Turner-Smith, 38, filed for divorce from Jackson, 46, back in October 2023 and now details about their ongoing custody battle have emerged.
A declaration filed by the actress’ lawyer, Laura Wasser, obtained by DailyMail.com, states she has claimed that her estranged husband refused her custody time with their child while she was filming in London last year.
DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for both Turner-Smith and Jackson.
It comes less than two months after it was reported that Turner-Smith alleged that the Dawson’s Creek alum still hadn’t paid her a dime in child/spousal support.
The British-born, American-educated performer and her $900 per hour attorney Wasser filed new legal documents on December 23 asking the judge to order the Canadian actor to start cutting her monthly checks.

The former couple, who split in October 2023, share a four-year-old daughter named Juno
According to TMZ, The Agency actress claimed that Jackson was ‘reneging on the promise’ that she ‘would not have to worry about financial security for our daughter if we ever separated’ because ‘he understood how difficult life can be as a Black woman and a single mother.’
At the time, Turner-Smith reportedly wanted Jackson to pay her $8,543 per month in child support, $28,641 per month in spousal support, as well as $250,000 in attorney fees and forensic accounting costs.
In an interview with Glamour UK in October 2024, she said of her ex: ‘[Joshua] can do whatever he wants. Just be good to Juno and be good to Juno’s mum, because I’m going to be Juno’s mum forever.’
She continued: ‘It’s an adjustment period for anyone when they split up with someone, because you’re used to being with your child all the time.
‘Each parent has a different life, and especially if the reason why you’re splitting up is because you have different lives, it’s only further complicated by how you’re going to co-parent.’
At the time of the interview, Turner-Smith was in London filming The Agency, an English-language remake of the French espionage series, Le Bureau des Légendes.
She would use her two day break from filming to pop back to Los Angeles to see her daughter, who remained in the US for school.
The actress admitted it was very difficult being away from her child, who will turn five this April.

Weeks after Turner-Smith officially filed for divorce, Jackson was photographed holding hands with actress Lupita Nyong’o, hours after it was confirmed they were dating.
However, in an October 2024 interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK, Nyong’o confirmed that she had split from Jackson.
