Jodi Albert Shares Rare Family Snap with Kian Egan and Their Sons at Royal Albert Hall

Jodi Albert has given fans a rare look at her family life as she posed with her husband Kian Egan and there three boys this week.

The mum-of-three, who is married to the Irish Westlife singer, made it a family affair this week as they supported Kian and the band for their sell-out shows at the Royal Albert Hall.

He performed with Shane Filan and Nicky Byrne as they sang some of their biggest hits at the renowned venue, kicking off their 25th anniversary celebrations ahead of next year’s tour.

In a rare look at Kian’s family, his proud wife Jodie, 42, posted a behind-the-scenes snap with the singer and their sons Koa, Zekey, and Cobi.

His youngest sons Zekey and Cobi looked dapper as they dressed to impress, with Cobi wearing full black tie.

Zekey was just as dapper in a black floral blazer, while eldest son Koa is now taller than his parents.

Alongside the snap, Kian, 45, penned: ‘A lovely moment back stage with my family @royalalberthall This is what it is all about.’

A source close to the clan told Daily Mail how they’ve spent the past few todays sightseeing and spending quality time together.

They said: ‘Jodi couldn’t be prouder of Kian, she’s been by his side all week in London with the kids, watching him back on stage with the boys and saying it’s his best performance yet.

‘They were spotted enjoying Halloween at Kew Gardens last night, getting some much-needed family time after a whirlwind few days of sold-out Royal Albert Hall shows, endless rehearsals, sound checks, interviews and all the buzz around Westlife’s new single Chariot and their world tour announcement, with tickets going on sale today.’

Kian and Jodi first met when he began to co-manage her former girl-group alongside X Factor’s Louis Walsh in the early noughties and they went on to get married in Barbados in 2009.

They currently reside in a stunning home in Kian’s native Sligo on the west coast of Ireland.

Kian previously told how it was important for him and Jodi that their children had a ‘normal upbringing’ despite his stardom.

He explained: ‘I think It’s super important in our circumstances to try to bring our children up as normal as possible and away from the lime-lights that are out there, and to try immerse them in the GAA matches and all of that in the great Irish life.’

He continued to Irish newspaper The Sunday World: ‘I think that’s super important for us as a family. We are all extreme family men, we love our families.’

Westlife celebrated their landmark with shows on Monday and Tuesday without Mark Feehily, who has taken a step back amid health woes, however remains ‘very much part of the band’.

At the show, in which the trio played alongside the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, Shane paid tribute to their beloved bandmate, who is not joining them on tour but does appear on their new music.

During their rendition of 1999’s Flying Without Wings, the group opted to use The Voice and Clean Bandit star Kirsten Joy as a stand-in to sing Mark’s lines – which are often deemed the finest work in the group’s rich history.

Speaking to the crowd, lead singer Shane said: ‘I want to take a minute to talk about Mark, who unfortunately is not with us tonight. But we love him, we miss him, and we cannot wait to have him back on this stage with us…

‘The good news is he’s obviously on the new music, which you’ve heard already, Chariot, And, the next album as well, we have a new album coming out in February.

‘So this next song, I want to dedicate it to Mark because it’s Mark’s favorite song. That might give you a hint. It’s a beautiful song. So tonight we’d like to dedicate it to him and I’d like to invite Kirsten Joy down to sing it with us.

‘This song is probably the song that changed our whole career.’

It was confirmed earlier this year that Mark would not be joining his bandmates due to ongoing health woes.
