Joanna Page discussed her awkward toilet meeting with Emma Thompson and a rather embarrassing moment on the Love Actually set on Tuesday’s Loose Women.
The actress, 46, who starred as body double ‘Just’ Judy in the 2003 romantic comedy, reflected on the iconic film 20 years on from its release.
Upon meeting the cast for the first time during the read-through, she admitted she was left red-faced, not just once but twice, leaving the cast in stitches.
Joanna revealed she was hesitant to take the role, due to the X-rated scenes with fellow actor Martin Freeman but explained how her mum talk her into it.
She began: ‘My mum was on the phone like go on, go for it. You’d be topless on the beach and I was thinking “No, I wouldn’t.”‘

Joanna continued: ‘But anyway, I got the part and it was so exciting but terrifying, at the read-through, everyone was there and I was sitting opposite Hugh Grant.
‘Half way through I went to the loo and I flushed the chain and it wouldn’t flush and I was in a panic.
‘I came out and Emma Thompson was stood there and went “Hello Joanna”, and I said, “Hello Emma I’m so sorry but the toilet won’t flush, I’ve only done a wee!’
‘Then next, the Americans girls weren’t there so Richard Curtis asked me to read for them and I got myself in such a state thinking about whether I should read in an American accent or a Welsh one.
‘I got to it and did a terrible American accent and the whole room burst out laughing. I was thinking “Omg get me out of here, it can’t get any worse.”‘
Last year, Joanna admitted she’s only ever seen Love Actually once as she recalled the ‘traumatic’ moment she watched her naked sex scene.
Speaking on Loose Women, Joanna confessed she doesn’t like watching herself on TV ‘at the best of times’.
She explained: ‘I’ve only ever seen it once. I couldn’t make the premiere as I was working. I went to the Cardiff film festival, introduced it and watched it in the front row and it was traumatic.’

‘I don’t like watching myself at the best of times and especially not naked. Sometimes at Christmas time you’ll catch snippets but that’s it.’
Since its release in 2003, Love Actually, which follows the intertwined stories of various characters in the build up to Christmas day, has become a bona fide festive classic.
The star-studded ensemble cast also features Emma Thompson, Keira Knightley, Bill Nighy, Liam Neeson, Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Rowan Atkinson, among others.
