'But, I want to show you some of my favorite things in here. A walk down memory lane,' she said.
Gaines gingerly stepped toward one end of the attic, which had a small window looking out, as she tried to avoid knocking over any of the items lining the wall or placed on a rug in the middle of the storage space.
Gaines grabbed what she called a 'cake plate stand' that was made of multiple plates, saucers and coffee and tea cups that appeared to have been glued together in layers. She said it was a 'big seller at Magnolia, circa 2005'
Then, Gaines comically pulled out a thick, padded orthopedic boot that had been gathering dust in the attic. 'This, just in case. When you have five kids, you never know when you're going to need the boot,' she joked. So not letting go of the boot'

In what appeared to be the opposite corner of the attic, Gaines pulled out a long brown wig and whipped it over her head, before joking that it was 'from my first collection of wigs.'
'And this one was a hit,' she added. 'Actually, I have no idea why there is a wig up here, but I promise it's not mine.'
