Jimmy Barnes is truly back on the mend following his heart surgery and health scare.
The rock legend was all smiles and appeared in excellent health as he and his wife Jane arrived at the Gold Coast Airport on Saturday.
The 67-year-old is heading to Bluesfest in Byron Bay, where he will perform on Sunday.
Jimmy beamed and gave a thumbs up as he made his way to the airport before his comeback performance.
He was later seen walking through the terminal wearing a black face mask and wheeling along his suitcase.

It comes after Jimmy opened up about his close brush with death and grave fears he wouldn’t wake up from heart surgery earlier this year.
The performer has survived his fair share of health scares from his years of living life to the max, along with drug and alcohol addiction.
While previously it was others who were concerned about him, he was just as worried as his family after he was struck down by a life-threatening infection that attacked his heart.
At one point, while lying in Sydney’s St Vincent’s Hospital, a gravely-ill Jimmy told his wife Jane: ‘I don’t think I’m gonna make it.’

Hours before checking into hospital, an unwell Jimmy took to the stage at a memorial concert for his late friend and promoter, Michael Gudinski.
The singer was recently rushed to ER following complications from bacterial pneumonia.
Jimmy informed his followers he was undergoing open heart surgery after a bacterial infection spread to his heart.
Following the procedure, the Scottish-born Aussie took to Instagram to let his followers know he is healthy, happy and likely to make a full recovery.
