Beyonce goes braless in plunging leotard for Betty Davis Halloween transformation

Beyonce put on a sizzling display as she transformed into a busty Betty Davis for Halloween Thursday.

The songstress, 43, went braless in a plunging zebra print leotard as she recreated the iconic singer’s look on  2005 compilation album, This Is It.

The skimpy ensemble featured furry statement shoulders and showed off the singer’s incredible toned legs and curves.

She completed the ensemble with white cowboy boots and a dramatic pop of red lipstick.

The legendary funk singer and ex-wife of jazz great Miles Davis, died at the age of 77 in February 2022.

Davis rose to prominence in the mid 1960s and 1970s with her instantly recognizable raspy voice and cemented herself in funk music history.

She was briefly wed to jazz icon Miles Davis, his second wife, but the pair split after just one year. He was 19 years her senior.

The pair met and worked together on some music in 1968, tying the knot around that time but their professional and personal relationship quickly fizzled though she kept his last name.

Betty had a great impact on Miles, one that lasted long after their romance. She is credited as introducing him to new music like Jimi Hendrix which catalyzed Davis’ pivot into jazz fusion and some of his most iconic word.

Perhaps not as widely known as some of her contemporaries, as Rolling Stone put it, following her death, Davis ‘left an underappreciated yet trailblazing body of work’.

Davis worked as a model in London and recorded music throughout the early 1970s. She released her self-titled first record in 1973.

Her two following albums, They Say I’m Different and Nasty Gal, were released in 1974 and 1975 respectively.

Only two of Betty’s singles broke into the top 100, with If I’m In Luck I Might Get Picked Up peaking at 66 and Shut Off the Lights at 97, according to Billboard.

She re-emerged in 2017 to contribute to a documentary about her life, Betty Davis: They Say I’m Different, the title a nod to her album of the same name.

Then, the following year, the former celebrity opened up about her decision to bow out of the limelight in an interview with the New York Times.

‘When I was told that it was over, I just accepted it. And nobody else was knocking at my door,’ she quipped to the paper.

Beyoncé recently delivered a powerful speech endorsing Kamala Harris for president at a rally held in her hometown of Houston, Texas on Friday.

‘I’m not here as a celebrity. I’m not here as a politician,’ Beyoncé said.

‘I’m here as a mother, a mother who cares about the world our children live in, a world where we have the freedom to control our bodies, a world where we are not divided, our past or present or future.’

Romesh, who does not have the strongest reputation for his art abilities, will have some big boots to fill in his new role as his predecessor was such a good artist he was accused of being secret artist, Banksy.

In 2020, the rumours swarmed social media so much, Neil felt compelled to respond publicly.

The British TV personality, 67 was speculated to be the elusive artist after a Twitter user’s post about the conspiracy theory went viral.

Racking up over 2,000 re-tweets, the user wrote: ‘Just heard that it’s rumoured Neil Buchanan is Banksy. If true, it’s the funniest s*** ever. Aintree’s finest.

‘He’s a musician and art has followed in the cities of shows he’s done allegedly. This is straight in the “believe without question” category.’
