Jessie J Announces New Album After Canceling Tour Due to Cancer Battle

Jessie J has announced the release of her new album just one month after being forced to cancel her tour amid her breast cancer battle.

The hit singer, 37, underwent a mastectomy in June after receiving the diagnosis and in August discovered she needs a second surgery, forcing her to cancel tour dates.

Now, Jessie has revealed she is carrying on with her new music release, with her album Don’t Tease Me With A Good Time dropping on November 28.

The record, which is available to pre-order, marks the first full album from the singer in seven years after debuting R.O.S.E. back in 2018.

Sharing a first look at the album artwork, Jessie could be seen in a close-up sporting a dramatic bright blue eyeshadow look and bright red glitter lip.

Jessie posted a picture of the glam album cover with the caption: ‘‼️DON’T TEASE ME WITH A GOOD TIME‼️ OUT • 28.11.25. PRE ORDER THE ALBUM NOW • LINK IN [CD emoji] HIGHLIGHT.’

Now, Jessie has revealed she is carrying on with her new music release, with her album Don’t Tease Me With A Good Time dropping on November 28

In a video shared on Instagram on Wednesday, Jessie told fans: ‘The album is coming, November 28th. Don’t tease me with a good time, including songs No Secret, Believe In Magic, Living My Best Life and the Award Goes To… which should have been a single but it wasn’t, maybe we can make that happen.

‘And there’s lots of other songs. Some of them have been leaked online, apparently that makes you still intersting and exciting, so I’ll take it as a compliment.

‘But you can pre-order it now, on vinyl – who knew? Hm budget. And CD, and there’s some signed stuff and there’s lots of things happening.’

Jessie returned to the stage earlier this month for her first live performance since undergoing a mastectomy following her breast cancer battle.

She opened her set at BBC Radio 2 In The Park in Chelmsford, Essex to a loud applause from fans.

Appearing emotional on stage, she told the packed crowd: ‘Some of you may know, some of you may not know, but I had breast cancer surgery 11 weeks ago today.

‘And the last show I did, I had no idea what was gonna happen, and I’m still very much in the recovery process, but I’m definitely not ready for Babins.

‘I mean, I am, but my doctors are like “calm down, girl”. Do you know what I mean, you can take the girl out of Essex, put her back in to Essex.

‘But I’m just so grateful to be here, you have no idea how grateful I am to see so many of you singing along after all these years. It truly feels like I’m a little kid. Still doing what I love.’

She added: ‘And another special thing that’s happening today is that my son is seeing me sing on stage for the first time.’

Sky, who is two years old, could be seen backstage wearing earmuffs as he waved at his mum on stage.

Giving a health update and revealing she needed a second surgery, Jessie said last month: ‘As some of you may know I just had breast cancer surgery eight weeks ago, that’s the first thing.

‘The second thing is unfortunately I have to have a second surgery. Nothing too serious but it has to be done by the end of the year and unfortunately that falls right in the middle of a tour I had booked.

‘So I am living in the moment, I am embracing in the moment and I am flowing with the vibes.’

Apologising she continued: ‘I’m so sorry, I feel frustrated and sad. But also it is what it is. I need to be better, I need to be healed and this is the right decision to make so I am postponing the tour until next year.’

She revealed the UK and European dates have been moved to April 2026, however her US dates so far have not been rescheduled due to logistics.

Jessie explained: ‘I haven’t be able to finesse the US dates yet so unfortunately that will be cancelled but I’m spending all my time trying to find time to make the venues make sense again in a slab of time next year.

‘Please bear with us for the US tour, it is something I want to do but when the time is right.

‘You guys know how much I want to do all of it but I just can’t and I have to be realistic.’
