Jessica Simpson flashed a bit of leg in a high-cut frock as she posed up a storm on her Instagram page this Wednesday.
She opted for a fluttery floral number that featured a plunging neckline and a few frilly accents that provided an air of country chic to the proceedings.
The 43-year-old songstress amplified the effect by slipping into an intricately designed pair of cowgirl boots that emphasized her statuesque legs.
Sharpening her features with makeup, the I Wanna Love You Forever singer let her signature blonde locks cascade over her shoulders in waves.
In a nod to the fact that her post came one day before Thanksgiving, she vamped in the caption: ‘Don’t forget the dressing!’

Over the summer, Jessica embarked summered Nashville with her family in order to restart her singing career in the capital of country music.
In order to do so, she brought along her husband, NFL retiree Eric Johnson, and their three children – Maxi, 11, Ace, 10, and Birdie, four.
‘Being in Nashville, even my kids are like: “You laugh the whole time. You’re so happy,”‘ Jessica revealed over the summer to E! News
‘It’s because I’m not on guard. I’m with a lot of like-minded people. It’s not about the celebrities – it’s really about the music and the heart and the conversation.’
As for the career move, she declared that she is ‘not nervous at all, but if you were to ask me two years ago when I was talking about coming back to music, I was frightened. But now, I know exactly what I want.’
She is ‘building my own platform. I’m doing it for the first time – the way I would – without a label telling me I need to do this song or use this producer. It’s all me.’
Jessica has not produced a new studio album in over a decade – not since the release of her 2010 record Happy Christmas.
In the intervening years she has devoted herself to a string of other professional ventures, including a jewelry line with Walmart and a bestselling memoir.

She has also built a flourishing family life, marrying her sizzling ex-NFL husband and welcoming her three children with him.
In a Bustle profile this year, she revealed that she was mulling the prospect of getting back into music – and teased her Nashville move.
During the month leading up to the interview she made three trips to the country music capital, percolating her ideas about her career path.
‘I’m doing this as a mother now, as a wife. I was a wife last time, but this is a very different marriage,’ the blonde bombshell noted.
Her first husband was her fellow singer Nick Lachey. Their marriage went up in flames in 2005 after just three years.
Jessica also pointed out that her children have ‘never seen’ their mother perform live, a fact that she apparently hopes to redress.
She was struck by the urge to return to music when little Maxi traveled with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter North to watch another pop star in concert.
‘I have my daughter taking a private plane with North West to go see Katy Perry in Vegas. And inside I’m like: “She was supposed to see me first,”‘ Jessica confessed.

‘Then I’m like: “This is not competitive, Jessica. Let your daughter enjoy Katy Perry.” But there’s moments that make me want to do it – for them to see that color of me.’
Not only has Jessica not released an album since 2010, but she has also not embarked on a full-fledged tour since as far back as 2004.
‘It boggles my mind that I’ve stayed relevant and that people are curious,’ Jessica acknowledged: ‘because I have not entertained. I have not entertained at all.’
Her latest professional ventures come after her head-spinning decision to buy back her lifestyle brand, The Jessica Simpson Collection.
The Texas-born pop act previously sold off the company to Sequential Brands in 2015, landing herself an eye-watering $117 million.

A few years later, however, she performed a dizzying volte face and decided to reacquire The Jessica Simpson Collection – appalling her business manager of over 20 years, who broke with her over the move.
Jessica had to borrow money from her mother Tina to get her brand back for what was widely rumored to be $65 million.
‘I am draining my bank account,’ she said on The Real last April after the buyback. ‘I have no working credit card.’
She took a stoic approach to her troubles, saying: ‘It’s okay. I will pay in cash. I went to Taco Bell the other day and my card got denied. I’m on a budget, ladies!’
Jessica has also recently denied that Ozempic had anything to do with her 100lbs weight loss, which she attributed to her ‘willpower’ and decision to give up alcohol.
