The Art+Film Gala is an annual event that brings out some of the biggest names in art, film, fashion, and entertainment.
Saturday saw LACMA trustee Eva Chow and actor Leonardo DiCaprio co-chair the event for the twelfth consecutive year.
This year’s event honoured artist Judy Baca, the director of the project that created the Great Wall of Los Angeles which is the largest communal mural project in the world.
Proceeds from the annual Art+Film Gala go toward underwriting LACMA’s initiative to make film more central to the museum’s curatorial programming, while also funding LACMA’s broader mission.
