The Better Sister is being produced my Amazon Prime Video and is an adaptation of the Alafair Burke novel of the same title.

Elizabeth Banks will act opposite of The Sinner star with Olivia Milch and Regina Corrado serving as showrunners and executive producers.
Biel and Michelle Purple will executive produce under their Iron Ocean Films label, and Banks will do the same through Brownstone Productions.
I, Tonya director Craig Gillespie will take the reigns on the project and also executive produce alongside Annie Marter via Fortunate Jack Productions.
According to Variety, the show will be a co-production between Tomorrow Studios (an ITV Studios partner) and Amazon MGM Studios.
