Cash Warren reflected on 2025 in an Instagram post shared on Wednesday, New Year’s Eve.
The 46-year-old father-of-three — who separated from wife Jessica Alba, 44, one year ago — posted photos with their kids and shared a heartfelt caption.
The exes are parents to daughters Honor, 17, Haven, 14, and son Hayes, who turned 8 on December 31.
Warren wrote, ‘You started out as the year I wanted to forget but so damn thankful you grew into the year I’ll always remember.’
The movie producer added, ‘A few lessons I learned over last 365 days: Acceptance is suffering’s antidote. Our minds are the OG algorithm. Negative thoughts will play on repeat if you allow them to.’
He then philosophized, ‘The line between enlightenment and narcissism is razor thin. Don’t be fooled by those who don’t know the difference.’

The proud dad addressed each of his kids in his caption, beginning with his oldest child.
‘Honor – I don’t know how you did it. Your ability to stay focused on your goals no matter what life threw your way this year was inspiring. Thanks for continuing to blaze the trail for your sister and little bro. You’re going to freaking YALE!!!’ he wrote to the high school senior.
Next, he wrote, ‘Haven – thanks for holding me accountable and for communicating so openly when things weren’t sitting right with you. Your transparency is everything! Oh and, thanks for teaching me about the fine art of being nonchalant.’
And to his son, he said, ‘Hayes – thanks for teaching me about living life w no regrets. “Dad, you know how many people in the world made a mistake at the exact same time as me? It’s not a big deal”. HAPPY 8th BIRTHDAY my boy!!!!’
Finishing on a high note, and loosely addressing his breakup, Warren continued, ‘From my day 1s to my new-news … I am so grateful ❤️.

His and Alba’s separation date is listed as December 27, 2024. She filed for divorce on February 7.

The message continued, ‘I’m proud of how we’ve grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth an evolution as individuals.’
Despite the breakup, she paid tribute to her ex with a heartfelt message on Father’s Day.
‘Happy Father’s Day, @cash_warren,’ the silver screen siren wrote to her estranged spouse.
It was written over a throwback photo featuring the film producer cradling their newborn son while their daughters looked on.
Following their breakup, Warren has been romantically linked to Hana Sun Doerr and Seanna Pereira.
For her part, the Honey actress is dating 33-year-old actor Danny Ramirez.
