Jessica Alba brought her father to tears as she bought his childhood home for him.
The 43-year-old mogul – who has been promoting her series Honest Renovations – took to her YouTube Channel to share the first part of her web series in which she surprises her parents with a new house.
At the end of the 10-minute clip, Jessica brought her father to the construction site that was the home of his parents to reveal that she had purchased the property and was in the process of renovating it for he and his wife Catherine Jensen.
Mark was emotional as he embraced his daughter and the construction crew before sitting down and breaking into tears.
Jessica told him: “Now the house that you grew up in, dad, is yours.’

Talking about his father and Jessica’s grandfather, Mark said: ‘He would be so proud of you Jessica.’
Earlier in the episode, Jessica explained that one of the biggest driving forces for her to take on this project was to honor her grandfather’s legacy.
She said: ‘Even though grandpa passed, like, this legacy is this house, and I tried to infuse grandpa throughout the house.’
Jessica later said the home stood as a symbol that her grandfather had ‘made it’ and would serve to give his children opportunities he wasn’t afforded.
She explained that her grandfather recently passed away and the medical bills encountered by her grandmother were going to force the family to sell the home but Jessica saw the opportunity to buy it for her parents and surprise them.
Before the big surprise, Jessica and the crew toured the home with her father.
Mark explained: ‘This is the house I was raised in since 1972 until I met this one and got married. I even, I think I had sex in there.’
Jessica was completely disgusted by the comment before they did a walk through of the home.

The two even participated in the demolition of the home as they brought out the sledgehammers to break things down inside the home.
Jessica seemingly has a bit more time on her hands as back in April the star announced that she was stepping down from her position as Chief Creative Officer for The Honest Company.
After being in the leadership role and founding the company 12 years ago, the actress shared that she will be stepping down but will ‘continue to provide strategic advice through my role on the board.’
In a statement via an Instagram post at the time, Alba shared throwback photos over the years alongside inspiring quotes from Eleanor Roosevelt.
The Honey star shared a carousel with photos led by a throwback picture of herself in a warehouse, sitting atop pallets of boxes, from when she founded her company in 2011.
She also shared another throwback photo of herself speaking at a podium at Nasdaq Market site in New York City on May 5, 2021.

Jessica recently shared on the Today Show that she is personally ‘repotting’ after stepping down.
She explained that she is still part of the company but this also is a new beginning for her as she said: ‘And for me, this is just like a new phase.
‘I feel like a rebirth into my next phase of life. I started a production company. Th first movie I produced, Trigger Warning, debuted on Netflix number one in so many countries. I was so excited.’
Jessica currently stars in Honest Renovations season 2 which is currently set to stream for free on the Roku app.
