Jess Wright has revealed her wedding day regrets, as her mum, Carol, confessed that she surprised her husband on his stag do and then refused to leave.
Jess, 40, married businessman William Lee-Kemp in September 2021, in a beautiful ceremony in Mallorca, Spain.
But in the latest episode of her family podcast Wright At Home, Jess admitted that she ‘doesn’t look back on it with complete joy’.
She explained that, given that her special day was in the middle of the COVID pandemic, she was left stressed over the regularly changing laws in Spain.
Speaking to her mother, Carol and her sister Natalya about the big day, she said: ‘I love my husband and everything, but I don’t look back on that wedding with complete joy, I can’t lie.’
To which Natalya questioned, ‘Why? It was the most amazing week’

Jess, who shares son Presley with William, explained: ‘With the pandemic and the stress around it and the laws in Spain we had to follow and they kept changing.’
Carol added: ‘COVID times, it was a terrible time. Do you remember in the church?’ to which they explained that every had to wear masks and if they didn’t follow the rules, the wedding was going to shut down.
Jess then revealed even more complications to the day as she revealed that the license of the castle ‘was pulled two days before,’ and Will didn’t tell her.
‘Everyone was in Spain ready for this wedding and we were going to potentially have to find another venue’, she added.
‘Oh it was just anything and everything that could have on the lead-up. I mean, I’m not moaning, don’t get me wrong, we did have an amazing day in the end.
‘The TV show was filming and that was really intense because they want you 24/7 understandably, because they’re trying to make a TV show, but also when you want to get married, you don’t want the cameras in your face.
‘You want to deal with stuff on your own… Will doesn’t really like the cameras anyway so we should never really in hindsight have done it.’
Jess then explained she was already pregnant at her wedding but didn’t know, meanig her hormones ‘were all over the place’.

To which Natalya challenged: ‘What? Why did you do that? That’s really annoying’ while Jess asked: ‘Did you stay there all night?’
Carol said: ‘Well no, I think he got a bit of the hump, he said “you can’t really stay here”, but there’s all these girls in there, you know silly boys and they’re dancing around.
‘I was like “you really think I’m going to leave? I’m going to stay here”. But I did stay for a while.’
