After a year-long search, Jesinta and Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin have finally found a buyer for their Gold Coast mansion, Villa Casa.
The Australian model and her AFL star husband listed the property last month, however it was the third time in 14 months that the couple had tried to sell the luxurious seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom pad.
Now, the couple – who are expecting their third child – have finally offloaded the ‘Mediterranean’ style home and are making the move with their family to a hobby farm.
Whitefox Real Estate’s Dijana Speak and Nic Whitehead revealed that the Reedy Creek property had been scooped up by a family from Victoria, who ‘walked in, fell in love and bought it’.
‘Buddy and Jesinta are so happy to see Villa Casa go to a beautiful family who will enjoy the home,’ Speak told realestate.com.au.
‘The buyers are moving from interstate and wanted acreage,’ she said, adding that they were attracted to the Hinterland area thanks to the schools nearby.

Villa Casa made headlines last month after Jesinta and Buddy listed the sprawling home for a whopping $10.9 million.
However, while Speak remained tight-lipped about the Franklins’ payday, the realtor did reveal that both the buyer and seller were happy with the final sale price.
The couple bought their Reedy Creek mansion in 2022 for $8.75 million.
Located on high ground 16km from the Gold Coast CBD, the resort-style multi-level home is impressive to say the least.
Highlights include expansive grounds and two separate dwellings.
The two-storey main residence boasts a ‘rumpus room’, a media room, and a private living room.
There’s also a large pool and entertainment deck with an adjoining ‘pavilion’.
Design features include grand floor-to-ceiling windows with ‘Spanish’ style arches, timber floors and lime-rendered walls.

Gold is used for the lights and taps, adding a touch of elegance.
The gourmet kitchen, meanwhile, offers a dolomite marble island breakfast bench.
A second two-bedroom residence on the estate serves as a ‘guest house’ and comes with two well-appointed bathrooms.
Buddy recently confirmed that the couple – along with their two children Tallulah, five, and Rocky, four – will be relocating to a country getaway before Christmas.
The 38-year-old AFL great said that the couple had snapped up a ‘hobby farm’.
‘It has taken us purchasing our next property to be fully ready to let this one go,’ Buddy told the Courier Mail.
‘It’s time, and we can’t wait for our first Christmas with the kids on the new property.
‘We’ve always envisioned raising the kids on a hobby farm.’
The champion goal kicker described the change as the ‘perfect’ step for their growing family and added that he plans to buy ponies for his children ahead of Christmas.
