Jesinta and Buddy Franklin List Luxe Gold Coast Mansion for $10.9M

Jesinta and Buddy Franklin List Luxe Gold Coast Mansion for .9M

AFL WAG Jesinta Franklin and her footy legend husband, Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin, are once again attempting to offload their lavish Gold Coast mansion.

Listed for $10.9million, it’s the third time in 14 months that the couple has tried to sell the luxurious ‘Mediterranean’ style seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom pad.

The move comes after Buddy recently confirmed that the couple, who are expecting their third child, will be relocating to a country getaway before Christmas.

The 38-year-old AFL great said that the couple have snapped up a ‘hobby farm’.

‘It has taken us purchasing our next property to be fully ready to let this one go,’ Buddy told the Courier Mail.

‘It’s time, and we can’t wait for our first Christmas with the kids on the new property. ‘We’ve always envisioned raising the kids on a hobby farm.’

The champion goal kicker described the tree change as the ‘perfect’ step for their growing family and added that he plans to buy ponies for his children ahead of Christmas.

The Franklins bought their Reedy Creek mansion, known as ‘Villa Casa’, in 2022 for $8.75million.

Located on high ground 16km from the Gold Coast CBD, the resort-style multi-level home first went to auction in July 2024.

After failing to find any takers, it languished on the market for two months before the couple decided to delist it.

They launched a new sales campaign last month for the property, which covers a whopping 1096 square metres, and features spectacular views of the nearby coastline.

Highlights include expansive grounds and two separate dwellings.

The two-storey main residence boasts a ‘rumpus room’, a media room, and a private living room.

There’s also a large pool and entertainment deck with an adjoining ‘pavilion’.

Design features include grand floor-to-ceiling windows with ‘Spanish’ style arches, timber floors and lime-rendered walls.

Gold is used for the lights and taps, adding a touch of elegance.

The gourmet kitchen, meanwhile, offers a dolomite marble island breakfast bench.

A second two-bedroom residence on the estate serves as a ‘guest house’ and comes with two well-appointed bathrooms.

Buddy and Jesinta, 34, smashed the price record for a property purchased in the scenic hinterland area when they snapped up the mansion two years ago.

Designed by award-winning architect Reece Keil, the grand estate attracted immense interest upon first hitting the market in 2022, becoming the most viewed property on Realestate.com.au at the time.

Last year, Jesinta told Daily Mail about their plans to relist the Gold Coast property, revealing they are looking for any buyers to snap up their family home for upwards of $11million.

‘We’ll relist in the New Year, it passed in at auction,’ the model explained at the time.

‘It passed in for $11million, so if there’s anyone over $11million out there that wants a beautiful house on the Gold Coast, you know who to call!’

It comes after Jesinta shared the news of the couple’s new purchase last month.

Taking to Instagram, the model said the new property would allow them to embrace the simple pleasures of country living.

‘We can’t wait to fill it with horses, chickens, finally have my dream veggie garden and most importantly – the simple joys of raising our growing family on acreage,’ she continued.

‘I’m so excited to bring you along for the journey.’

The couple, who are already parents to daughter Tullulah, five, and son Rocky, four, have been open about their desire for a slower lifestyle away from the limelight.
