Jerry Seinfeld revealed that an extended cut exists of the ‘bearded lady’ scene on the series finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm while promoting his new movie Unfrosted.
The 70-year-old comedian filmed the hilarious scene with series creator Larry David, 76, and during an appearance on Tuesday on Jimmy Kimmel Live was asked about it by Jimmy, 56.
‘I even went back and re-watched it to make sure that I was seeing what I thought I saw. It had nothing to do with the show at all,’ Jimmy said.
‘Nothing,’ Jerry confirmed of the scene in which Larry asks him to consider a hypothetical situation about dating a gorgeous bearded lady who is about to shave.
‘But what you saw there is how Larry and I wrote comedy. Because I didn’t know what he was going to say. They had that set up. He’s going to suggest a strange idea to you. And you just respond,’ Jerry said.

‘So the other thing, I said to Larry last night, on the show it’s like a minute, two minutes. It was actually like an eight-minute chunk that’s hilarious because he slowly builds to it. You meet this amazing girl, there’s only one problem,’ Jerry said.
Jimmy said he would love to see the extended scene.
‘I said, ”Hey why don’t we put that out?”. He said they hadn’t thought of it. HBO snap out of it, get in the business,’ Jerry said.
Jerry celebrated his 70th birthday on Monday with a dinner that featured pizza cooked by Chris Bianco and his wife Jessica, 52, and Larry were both in attendance.
‘Larry David, does he buy you a gift?,’ Jimmy asked.
‘No, no,’ Jerry replied.
Jerry then revealed his favorite gift.
‘I got the greatest gift for my birthday from Colin Quinn, who texted me. “As your birthday gift, you don’t have to return this text”,’ Jerry said.
‘That’s a great gift,’ Jimmy said.
‘I thought that was a really nice gift,’ Jerry said.

Jerry was on the ABC talk show to promote his new movie Unfrosted that he co-wrote, co-produced and stars in along with making his directorial debut.
The comedy is loosely based on the true story of the creation of Pop-Tarts.
Unfrosted is scheduled to be released on Friday on Netflix.
The film stars an ensemble cast that includes Melissa McCarthy, Jim Gaffigan, Hugh Grant, and Amy Schumer.
Jerry gushed about English actor Hugh, 63, who he described as being ‘one of those guys who wants to find the moment’.
He joked about telling Hugh that he already found the moment while directing him how to say a line.
‘But he’s my favorite human being that I’ve ever met,’ Jerry said.
Jerry admitted growing up as a kid admiring the handsome, rugged, funny drinkers of the 1960s who were like Hugh.
‘I got to be with him, and we had dinner all the time, and we would get drunk. It was fantastic,’ Jerry said of Hugh.
