Jennifer Lopez was ‘not happy’ when she saw her ex-husband Ben Affleck back in the arms of his other ex-wife Jennifer Garner this week.
DailyMail.com reported Jenny From The Block was taken aback by the display of affection so soon after their divorce was finalized.
Now DailyMail.com can report that Lopez has already planned her ‘wicked’ revenge. As soon as next week she will be in the arms of another celebrity hunk.
Jennifer will be in New Jersey to film the Netflix romantic comedy Office Romance with handsome Ted Lasso veteran Brett Goldstein.
Brett has already expressed he has a crush on the This Is Me… Now singer, even saying he ‘loves’ her. That is why he chose her to star in the film he wrote.
Ticket To Paradise director Ol Parker is heading up the feature as Lopez has been named a producer.
‘After a very tough start to 2025, Jennifer can’t wait to start a new project and it certainly helps that she will be working with a very handsome and smart star like Brett,’ a source told DailyMail.com.

Jennifer will be in New Jersey to film the Netflix romantic comedy Office Romance with hunky Ted Lasso veteran Brett Goldstein. Brett has already expressed he has a crush on the This Is Me… Now singer, even saying he ‘loves’ her. That is why he chose her to star in the film he wrote.
‘He is one hot ticket and a real class act with talent to back it up – he not only acts but he writes amazing scripts. He is like the younger, better, British version of Ben. She thinks he is very cute.’
While Jennifer is over Ben, she won’t mind making him a little jealous and enjoying a bit of a ‘wicked’ revenge.
‘It will be a reminder to Ben that she is still hot property in Hollywood and how can that not make her feel great?’ noted the source. ‘She is 55 and is still a box office dynamo. This will just be another reminder of that.’
It doesn’t hurt that Ben was a Ted Lasso fan.
‘Ben knows who Brett is, he is plenty aware. Brett is younger and smarter than Ben. It will irk him for sure.’
On Friday Jennifer shared on Instagram she was excited to start shooting the movie as she was doing a read through of the script. ‘This is gonna be a fun one ✨@Netflix Office Romance #NuyoricanProductions,’ she said in her caption on Instagram.
In the past Brett has said he had a crush on Bronx native Lopez.
On an episode of his podcast, Films To Be Buried With, Brett referred to the 2019 film in which she played a stripper, Hustlers, as the ‘sexiest’ movie of the decade – before drooling over a scene of her cozying up to Constance Wu.
‘It’s really good on every level,’ he gushed of the movie. ‘F**king hell! 50! She’s 50! I love her!’
He also gave a shout-out to a scene which saw Jennifer’s character cuddle with Constance in a fur coat.

On Reddit, a fan said of the casting: ‘Brett adores Jennifer Lopez so I’m happy he’s getting to act with his crush!’
Others on Twitter gushed over just how happy they were to see Goldstein work with his crush.
‘The duo I was hoping to see working together!’ one account posted. ‘@brettgoldstein mentioned many times in his podcast how much he loves @JLo. And as a huge fan of both of them, I can’t wait to see them together!’

The casting comes during an interesting time in Jennifer’s personal life – she is a single woman after divorcing Affleck.
As for Goldstein, he dated comedian Beth Rylance in 2021, and in 2022 The Sun reported they had split.
Deadline reported that Jennifer and Brett will star in the Netflix romantic comedy Office Romance.
Goldstein – who is known for starring in the show Ted Lasso – is also writing the screenplay with Joe Kelly.
Other cast and plot details are still under wraps, while a set release date has yet to be announced.
Lopez and her production company Nuyorican are also making a series out of the Emily Henry bestseller Happy Place, which Bridgerton Emmy nominee Leila Cohan is co-writing and show-running for Netflix.
