Jennifer Lopez’s new film Unstoppable has tanked at the UK box office and dropped out of cinemas after just one week.
Unstoppable tells the story of wrestler Anthony Robles and the actor and singer, 55, stars as his mother Judy.
But unfortunately the film pulled in a lowly £3,112 for its entire opening weekend in the UK – and was the 55th most-watched movie on its release.
After its poor show at the UK box office, Unstoppable dropped out of cinemas on its second week, according to The Sun.
It comes amid a turbulent year for the star after her latest album, This Is Me… Now, debuted at number 55 on the UK Albums Charts and number 38 on the US Billboard 200.
Meanwhile in May, J-Lo was forced to pull the plug on her This Is Me… Live tour – before later confirming in divorce documents that she had split from Ben Affleck the previous month.

Unstoppable has a limited theatrical release beginning on December 6, before being dropped on the streaming service on January 16 of next year.
The premise of the movie, ‘centres around the life of wrestler Anthony Robles, who was born with one leg and won a national championship in 2011 while competing at Arizona State University’.
Along with Jennifer, other stars that were cast in the sports drama include Jharrel Jerome, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Pena and Don Cheadle.
Cancelling her tour ahead of summer, J-Lo told fans at the time she was ‘heartsick and devastated’ to ‘let them down’.
A statement at the time read that Jennifer was retreating from the spotlight ‘to be with her children’.
Speaking about the tour on The Graham Norton Show in November, she said: ‘I took the summer off to be home with the kids, which is the best thing I have ever done.’
Jennifer, who shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony continued: ‘It was not like me to do that, so I always want to apologise to the fans’.
The hitmaker then recalled how she met a fan the day before her chat show appearance, who revealed he’d bought a seat to one of her now scrapped gigs.

On top of career moves, Jennifer filed for divorce from Ben Affleck in August after months of speculation swirling around the relationship between the A-list singer-actress and actor-director.

The duo made headlines in 2021 when they rekindled their romance, nearly 17 years after calling off their original engagement and postponing their September 2003 wedding.

A source told Page Six that Ben was overjoyed to spend Thanksgiving with his family as they volunteered and served meals to the homeless.
Ben said that he feels as if he can ‘just be himself’ around Jennifer Garner and their kids.
The insider added: ‘Even though Ben and Jen have been split for a while now, he feels a certain level of comfort with her.
‘Ben has a strong relationship with Jen that will never dissipate because they have a lot of history together and she’s the mother of his kids.’
