The 55-year-old Unstoppable actress and 52-year-old Batman star officially settled their divorce on Monday, just five months after their shocking split on their second wedding anniversary.
Now, a source close to Lopez has revealed that she’s looking ahead to a new chapter in 2025.
‘The fairy tale she was promised turned out to be a nightmare in the end,’ the insider shared with People on Tuesday.
‘She’s in a really good place and just wants to close the door on this crazy chapter.’
In the wake of the settlement, DailyMail.com reported that Lopez will get to keep the green diamond engagement ring from Ben, which is said to be worth a staggering $5 million.

The ring is as unique as it is valuable, featuring a large green diamond at the center, flanked by two elongated baguette diamonds, and bookended by a matching pair of trapezoid diamonds.
As if that weren’t enough, TMZ confirmed that Lopez will also retain all the other jewelry Ben gave her during their relationship.
And it seems her jewelry collection is quite impressive—Lopez already has five other engagement rings in her collection.
These include gifts from her ex-husbands Ojani Noa, Cris Judd, Marc Anthony, and from her former fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, not to mention the one from her first engagement to Affleck.
The former couple has also come to terms on the fate of their $61 million Beverly Hills mansion, though the details of the agreement will remain under wraps.
Despite not having a prenuptial agreement, the pair’s collective wealth, estimated at $550 million, reflects a significant financial powerhouse, with Lopez contributing a hefty $400 million of that fortune.
The actor-director and singer-actress initially tied the knot in a surprise Las Vegas elopement at the Little White Chapel on July 16, 2022—18 years after calling off their first engagement in 2004.
They later exchanged vows again at Affleck’s estate near Savannah, Georgia, on August 20 of the same year.

TMZ, the first to break the news of the settlement, also reported that Affleck will retain his stake in his production company, Artists Equity, which he co-founded in 2022 with his longtime friend Matt Damon.

Meanwhile, Lopez has been busy working on projects such as Shotgun Wedding, This Is Me… Now, and The Mother during their marriage.
The settlement, mediated by the renowned celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser, also reveals that Lopez will drop Affleck from her surname and return to being Jennifer Lynn Lopez.
