Jennifer Lawrence has signed on to star in a Real Housewives-inspired murder mystery for Apple Original Films and A24.
In other words, the Oscar-winning, Real Housewives super fan will live out her very own Bravo, day-drinking, table-tossing, bad-behaving fantasies in The Wives.
The 33-year-old – who took her son Cy to the park this week – has been open about her love of the Real Housewives franchises and she will also produce the film, which was acquired in a competitive situation, Variety reported.
The film is in development and was written by Michael Breslin and Patrick Foley, who wrote the Pulitzer Prize finalist play Circle Jerk.
Apple and A24 have previously worked together on the 2022 film Causeway, also starring Lawrence.

The No Hard Feelings actress has gone on the record several times about how much she loves the Real Housewives franchise.
Earlier this year, Jennifer opined that The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City deserve her 2013 Best Actress Oscar after the season four finale.
‘Best reality tv finale I think ever,’ Jennifer told E! News at the 2024 Golden Globes. ‘I was jaw on the floor, I didn’t even text—I didn’t even look at my phone!’
‘I want a painting of the moment when they’re all of the beach,’ she joked, ‘the different looks, it was amazing.’
Back in November 2017, Amelia Hamlin was reduced to tears by Lawrence’s reaction to her meeting her mother, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna.
